We were stopping for a pre-cinema bite, and we were not disappointed. I was running late, so I pre-ordered. I wish I hadn’t, as the restaurant has daily specials, and the pizza of the day was a Pizza Genovese with caramelised onions! My choice did not disappoint, though - the vegetariana with extra mozzarella was tasty, not heavy-laden with soggy vegetables or greasy. The pizza dough was lovely. For reference, the best I have tasted was in the best (IMO) Neapolitan pizzeria ´Da Michele’ in Mergellina - Bravi Ragazzi’s pizza dough compares favourably, and I will be returning.

We did not have starters or desserts, but I had my eyes on the soupli and tiramisu.

We waited longer than I would expect for a pizza, but that was because it was a Friday evening. Also, the pizzeria is incredibly busy with deliveries, which is always extra reassurance on the food quality.

I felt the price was expensive - £36 for two pizzas and a small bottle of Aqua Panna - considering the location. The seating area is minimal, so there wasn’t much of an ambience, but there was a good mix of families and couples, typical of a thriving neighbourhood spot.

My final words are dedicated to our lovely Habesha waiter. I forgot to ask his name, but his welcome and attentiveness made it even more...

After a 10-year hiatus, I recently returned to my all-time favourite pizza spot in Streatham, and it was as if time had stood still. From the very first bite, I was transported back to exactly what I remembered: the same mouth-watering flavours, that perfect balance of ingredients, and the unmistakable quality that makes this Neapolitan pizza unforgettable.

The pizza at Bravi Ragazzi is, without a doubt, the best you’ll find in London. They’ve managed to keep their standards unwaveringly high, serving up the same super-tasty, authentic pizza that had me coming back years ago. The dough is light and perfectly chewy, the sauce is rich and flavourful, and the toppings are fresh and high-quality, just as they’ve always been.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can tell the team takes pride in every pizza they serve. The dedication to consistency and authenticity is truly remarkable, and it’s rare to find a place that can deliver the same amazing experience year after year.
