A Great Local Spot for Comfort and Value. If you’re ever around Streatham and in need of a relaxed spot for food or drinks, The Holland Tringham is well worth a visit. I’d popped in with friends for a quick lunch and it delivers exactly what we were after: good value, and a wide variety of food and drink options. One of the things I appreciate most is how airy it feels, especially with the option for outdoor seating when the weather’s nice. It’s a welcoming environment, and even when it’s busy, the vibe is laid back and comfortable. The lunch deal is a winner, especially if you like a fish and chips — they serve it until late and the free refill policy on Lavazza coffee and tea is a big plus. I’ve also tried the deli deals and vegetarian options — surprisingly fresh and filling for pub food. And if you’re after something heartier, the burgers and pizzas are a safe bet. Service is generally fast and efficient, especially if you use the Wetherspoon app for table service. I love that there’s step-free access and free Wi-Fi as well — makes it an easy spot for anyone to spend time without fuss. All in all, The Holland Tringham ticks a lot of boxes for me — casual, affordable, friendly, and flexible for different times of day. Definitely a local gem for Streatham.

Lately, the prices have gone up, which is understandable, however, prices are now just a little lower than other pubs in the area. The pub has recently become an unpleasant place. Tables tend to be not just dirty, but piled with glasses and plates. People have to wait a long time to be served, the app to order is often turned off or not working due to low staff, the staff are mostly new and clueless. Retention is a problem, of course as they're thrown into understaffed shifts. The new managers it seems don't want to be there, and are either cutting staff or creating an unpleasant working environment. They are often defensive and unfriendly with regular guests who may be upset that the pub is unpleasant. Unfortunately, I think this evening is our last time that we come to the pub. We want to go back, but it's not a pleasant place to be right now. There are no excuses if you can't provide a decent service and are going to charge the same as other pubs in the area.

Where on earth can you get a VEGAN full English breaky for £2.99!!! Maybe Bali but this is London people. Everyone knows about the cheap pints at the Spoons but did you know about the cheap food?! Vegan breaky- x2 vegan sausys, x2 hashbrowns, x2 mushrooms, a grilled tomato, baked beans, toast and spread. Plus help yourself basis to all the condiments you could want. HP, mayo, T sauce, mango chutney, chilli sauce, tartare you name it. My partner orders 2 breaky’s for himself since it’s that cheap. Basic but great value, served very quickly. Coffee is from an auto machine and it’s not very nice, but you buy one and you get free coffee or tea refills. A huuuge menu with loads of inexpensive food and drink options.

Appalling! Visited The Holland Tringham at Streatham on 18th January 2017. Wetherspoon promote thursday as curry night. Before 8pm we ordered three chicken curries to be told they had no rice, but we didn't complain and agreed to have it with chips. The food arrived and all three curries were barely warm, which is extremely dangerous to serve. When they came back we realised there were no naan breads. After asking the guy where they were, he shrugged his shoulders and said they had run out. No-one even mentioned it, or offered an alternative. Surely when promoting a curry night they should make sure they have rice and naan bread. One of our group went to the bar and said that I wished to speak to the manager as I was the one who had paid for the food. He didn't even bother to acknowledge us. Myself and friends are using the pub much less these days as two of the last three meals we have ordered were well below a decent standard. There have been many excellent managers at this pub, but it appears that Wetherspoon are now employing managers without the correct training who have no idea how to manage! Had he bothered to speak to us this terrible review could have...

Visited this pub with two friends a couple of weeks ago. Was harassed by some older men the whole time we were there. My drink took half an hour to come so I asked one of the staff (Andrea) what had happened to it. After telling me to wait and going over to chat to these men who had been harassing us, the member of staff finally returned to help. However, instead of getting the drink, he asked if i was single and told us that these much older men wanted to know. We told him that we didn’t want to talk about that with him, we just wanted to get the drink that I at this point had ordered 40 minutes ago. It was EXTREMELY unprofessional of this much older member of staff to act in this way towards three 18 year old girls, and to facilitate and even encourage this kind of harassment that had been going on the whole time we were there. Eventually the drink came after 45 minutes but with a different mixer as the one I had ordered had now run out. Felt deeply uncomfortable the whole time we were there and hope that this particular member of the team does not act in this way to...
