Hi I bought two coffees this morning from the van in Victoria park (Sunday) spent Ā£7.60 I used to rate this van highly, maybe they have had a change of staff, who knows, but never again will we buy our coffee from them. After our group drank our coffees we asked for a little drop of water for our little dog? only to be told ā€˜no you can get it over the bridge from a tap’ what a rude jobs-worth, he obviously is not a dog owner and he obviously does not like dogs, let’s just hope he gets turned down when he needs a little water on a hot day. Just to make it clear, yes we could have walked over the bridge but our little dog was exhausted. He gave away free oat milk for a lady to give her baby but no water for the dog, maybe next time I’ll ask for free oat milkšŸ˜‚. Just to answer the guy from browns of Brockley. Firstly there is no need for your rude sarcasm. One knows that one does not need oat milk to wash there hands. Secondly in future we know where to get water from in the future, and we certainly know where NOT to buy coffee. There are plenty of vans and coffee places within the park. What a shame you treat...

Firstly, I am writing a review of Browns of Brockley not as a customer, but as a local resident to my local park [Blythe Hill Fields SE23]. Browns of Brockley are co-sponsors to the 5th September 2021 Blythe Hill Fields 'Festival' organised by the park volunteer group called the Friends of Blythe Hill Fields. This group has been in existence since 2003 and the annual Festival is supposed to be a fundraiser event to raise funds for ongoing park improvements. The delayed Festival for 2021 has no specified park improvement fund raising objective and this follows on from many years of the same from the Friends group. I will gladly amend/remove my post if Browns of Brockley can outline to all what specified, scheduled and deliverable park improvement its sponsorship is intended to deliver for those who use Blythe Hill Fields for the other 364 days and 19 hours of the year. Blythe Hill Fields is a public park. Whilst private sponsorship for park events may have its place, the sponsorship should at least stretch further than advertising as a 'legacy' issue for a public park. I look forward to hearing...

I have been a regular at this cafĆ© for the past five years and have always appreciated the coffee, the staff, and the overall atmosphere. However, today I had a completely different experience, and unfortunately, it wasn’t a positive one.

Two women were sitting nearby speaking loudly as if they were in a pub rather than a cafĆ©, but I didn’t say anything, as they were simply enjoying themselves, even if it was a bit disruptive. At one point, I accidentally opened an Instagram video on my phone. It played for less than five seconds and happened to be in French. One of the women abruptly said, ā€œShut thatā€, which really shocked me.

We are in 2025, until when such racist behaviour by some people will continue?

I want to be clear that my concern is not at all with the cafƩ itself, as the staff and service have always been excellent. But this incident with another customer has left me feeling quite stress.

I thought sharing this feedback with management might help me process the experience and bring some attention to how such interactions can...

I’m not a local and found browns via the London Coffee App. Fantastic place! Bright and airy with some lovely window seating where you can watch the world go by. The coffee is tasty and smooth with a good mix of roasts. They only go up to 8oz which is my only small gripe but the taste and quality more than makes up for it. The service is friendly and helpful and done with a genuine smile (not always the case around our city sadly) There’s a good selection of cakes, the bircher looked very good and I opted for a pastrami toasted sarnie which was quite simply divine! If you’re in the area - stop by. You won’t be disappointed 😊

Seriously, the best coffee shop in SE London. Their coffee is amazing, snacks are on point and everyone's so friendly here! This morning I had an 11 out of 10 experience, where I let them know that my train arrived in a few minutes so the team kicked in to action without skipping a beat and churned me out a smoked salmon bagel & coffee at the absolute speed of sound. Caught my train and I'm now happily caffeinated. Thanks!!

This coffee shop is still a vibe. The staff are very friendly, the food is good and the coffee is fantastic. I had a mocha this visit, and omgosh, it was the best I have had. Their hot chocolate is amazing. Smooth, velvety, and delicious. It was a lovely combination with the shot of espresso. I defo recommend šŸ‘ŒšŸ¾. They also gave me a free mince pie, which was very good.
