City Noodles — Restaurant in London

Assistant was being rude on the phone and in person. Telling my husband you’ve ran out of chilly oil just for him to justify when I couldn’t eat my food because the mushroom and veggie mix was too sweet that it’s available in the kitchen.HELLO?????. Husband Asked to speak to him as this wasn’t the first time and he walked off like he didn’t matter. I stepped in to speak to the boss only for him to turn around to tell me he is the boss.🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️then I had to remind him that I just heard you tell someone on the phone you can’t add on an order unless you confirm with the boss????. So did you need to confirm with yourself??He then went in the kitchen to call another woman who said oh sorry, sorry, am busy speak to the boy. Same boy who has made this escalate for whatever reason. Your lack of professionalism will cost you most of your customers. I have been a regular customer and my last few visits with this guy in question and woman have been nothing to write home about. And giving me a change short . Instead of £10.80 he gave me £9.70.cash: £60.00 bill: £49.20.Just hurts I never meet the lovely lady who used to be there...

I called up the restaurant to find out how long it will take for my food to be delivered or if the delivery guy had arrived for collection as the Uber eats app wasn’t updating, the person on the phone was not helpful at all, saying they have a lot of Uber eats orders and to find the order number, I told them I don’t have the order number but could they check with my address or name, they said again we have over 20 Uber eats orders find the order number and call back, I don’t expect that especially as I’m spending a lot of money there. The person sounded very rude, I’m so annoyed that I didn’t know this already otherwise I wouldn’t of ordered from there, if the person wasn’t happy to be answering the phone and dealing with order enquiries they are in the wrong...

Probably the best Chinese I have had in the area but a little pricey compared to others I have had. However their customer service is not the best. I have bought from them a number of times however on this occasion when I asked for the usual (Singapore vemercilli and sweet and sour chicken in the same box) the woman said they do not do that. I then had to explain that it is what I usually get, she said ok "£3 more". I had no issue with that however I did not appreciate her telling me they didn't do it. Apart from that their food is nice and it came very quickly with 20 min, which is perfect timing as they are only up the road.
