First time seated outside, service was good. ... Update: I've been twice again but inside dining.
1st time it was very busy, I was seated near front door entrance which wasn't pleasant. Service was slow & staff unattentive. I put this down to staff being overwhelmed at full capacity.
2nd visit was quiet but reception was not welcoming, told that if I had a dog I needed to be seated in a specific area. Which I didn't mind but staff had a dismissive attitude.
Waited around 20 minute, I was just about leave then different member of staff who was serving another customer then noticed me & enquired if I wanted to order!
Food was served but my drink order was forgotten. I informed the waitress & when she brought my drink 5 minutes later she slammed the glass on the table.
Meal was delicious, such a shame that the service was poor.
I only used this restaurant because it was advertised as dog friendly.
When leaving I said thank you but ignored.
Response: Thank you for responding & appreciate your reply.
From the first review I posted, yes, I've changed my profile name (that's all).
So I don't know why you've classed this as a (spam). You're implying that I had an ulterior motive to defame your establishment.
All my reviews that I do are genuine &...

Every summer weekend, the outdoor area turns into a late-night party with music so loud it carries straight into nearby flats. Past complaints from residents show the noise has gone well beyond midnight (sometimes until 1am), making sleep impossible. Since last month, theyāve also started showing live football outside, which means loud cheering, shouting and screaming crowds on top of the music.
Tonight (Friday), at 23:06, I called to politely ask when the noise would stop. A staff member picked up, went silent, and then hung up. When I called again, they sent my number straight to voicemail.
On sunny days, they run an outdoor BBQ that pours thick smoke and heavy food smells into surrounding homes. My entire flat fills with it if my windows are open, forcing me to shut them on the hottest days.
This is not just a lively neighbourhood bar, it is an ongoing source of noise and air pollution for the people who actually live here. The council has had multiple complaints (May, July, and more), but the behaviour continues. Visitors should know that this āatmosphereā comes at the expense of the...

Service was a little slow - saw our drinks on the bar for a while before someone brought them to the table, despite it being a quiet time and there being four or more staff members. Food was ok - good in the main. But the āsmashedā avocado was not good - it was so unripe that I had to leave a huge chunk that I couldnāt even cut with a knife. If itās that unripe, itās obviously not appropriate for serving and the flavour was therefore lacking (some salt and pepper would have helped). Most disappointing part was at the end of our meal. We sat at the table for a good 15 minutes after finishing, without anyone offering to clear, enquiring if we wanted anything else, or bringing us the bill. In the end I caught the eye of a waitress chatting with a colleague behind the bar. She came to clear but did not offer us anything further, ask how our meal was or bring us the bill. We spotted a till station on the way out so simply got up to leave and it was only then that our original server took payment and only because my husband went to her and offered. Shame because it is a lovely little...
