I stopped going a long time ago after the lady owner ( yes the one who appears to be ever so sweet/ friendly/ kind ) overstepped a boundary. There was a little boy who wanted to buy something for his baby sister but fell short. The boy refused to let me pay 2 pounds for his sister but the scene did break my heart as he didnt have enough money and the two children looked upset. He said ill promise ill get you something next time However the shop owner was watching and although i appreciate she doesnt have to make such allowances to allow less money to be paid for a drink for a child who falls short as it is a business. However after the boy left she told me she had seen the whole thing and was touched by my willingness to make up the difference. She told me lots of school children come who sometimes dont have enough money and asked what i think of her putting a money jar for the children who fall short. Or if i leave change from drinks in future with her. I was speechless and felt the shop owner used this situation to her advantage and it wasnt her place to ask this. I have no way of knowing where the money would go plus its not my responsibility. A line was crossed hence i never returned. The shop itself was okay as they had a lot of flavours but I just naturally stopped going after this incident as i try to support ethical businesses only and i research where i spend my money. I dont fall for just a friendly face, but im not missing anything honestly. Theres no bubble tea shops near me but i stopped drinking that stuff a long time ago. But Honestly its probably for the better in my opinion as im aware these drinks contain syrup sugar etc and ive started a journey where im watching my diet.
Theres other negative reviews so i think im prob fine without it. they are selling parantha onion rings etc here now.
Yours sincerly The girl who stopped coming...
Read moreI would give 0 stars if i could. Not today but got 2 milk teas for my children. Was 8pm bare in my mind. There wasnt much boba left in the tub. They scraped the last bits for us. I didnt think it was a problem until we tried it. It was disgusting. Who knows what they did as they took long behind the curtain even tho it was just us. The milk tea i usually get, tasted soo watered down and they were not honest about this. They could have told us if they were on a shortage. Could at least told us that they barely had any left. Instead of making a potion with it and feeding it to us. Definitely diluted with water. Felt a crunch in it too. The boba tasted extremely mushy and disintegrated. Wasn't chewy and nice. Definitely no honesty. They give ppl disgusting drinks for a few ££. Scammers. Absolutely vile. We shudve asked...
Read morei NEVER review places, but i had to absolutely give this place a 5 star review. at first, i got taro milk with tapioca pearls. it was so good, i gulped it down in five minutes (which, in retrospect, was a mistake because i didn’t get to enjoy it longer). my friend got a masala chai, and hers was the tastiest chai i have ever had. we had a few other chais at neighboring restaurants but it was not at all up to the standard of this place. we found ourselves comparing them, and this place always won. not only is everything there delicious, the lady working is so genuine and kind. she truly cared, and listened to our stories with interest. truly one of the kindest people i’ve met in the uk. two days later, we were back for seconds of the chai. who knows, maybe we’ll get thirds on...
