Shahi Haweli — Restaurant in London

I am not usually a review person! But I had to warned others before you all goes through the same shit! I went to the Southall haweli restaurant, as a solo person, today which is 1/10/2024, ordered a mango lassi, a white rice and by the help of the waitress asked her which is the nicest lamb curry and she said jalfrezi lamb. I said go for it! As I was not well, I was served just as per it was suggested. No salads was offered or anything, whilst I saw others had been served curry salad etc. I didn’t care less. I just wanted to just eat and go. To my surprise my bill is £16.50 instead of £15.48, as I had my parking about to over, I just tapped the card and left. Knowing something was fishy on the bill! So I decided to quickly grabbed a copy of the leaflet. And my doubts was real, lamb curry on the menu says 8.99, I was charged £10.00, mango lassi was 3.99, I was charged £4.00 and white rice, I have been charged 2.50 which I’m doubting this is overcharged aswell as rice is not mentioned the priced on the menu! My question is hire honest staff if you want to earn money for your business! Do not steal from people everyday living! Ask if you want to be tipped or whatsoever but do not impose your own price when billing someone! Shameful! How you’d stole from customers!!! On top I called them to check the price acting as a customer for collection! They are telling 2 different prices until I told him your price is showing something else on your menu! I recently dined at SHAH HAWELI and unfortunately, the experience was a disaster. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with an uninviting ambiance that set the tone for the entire meal.

The menu boasted a variety of options, but the execution fell short. The dishes lacked finesse and were poorly seasoned, leaving them bland and unappetizing. It was evident that little attention to detail went into the preparation of each dish. Tried mutton tikka, biryani, lamb chops, chicken jalfarezi and fries. The only recommended food would be fries. The Mango lassi was awful never try that if you got some taste buds.

The service was equally disappointing. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the waitstaff seemed disinterested and inattentive.

I left feeling unsatisfied and regretful of spending my hard-earned money on such a lackluster dining experience.

Overall, I would not recommend Shah haweli south hall London to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. There are plenty of other establishments in the area that offer better food, service, and value for money. Save yourself the disappointment and...

Hi folks I visited this Restaurant today and I asked for a Lamb biryani and half chicken lemon with twice zero coke drink, that coming perfectly cold.

About the price is not bad at all (see ticket) but the biryani coming very spyce for my taste, be aware they don't ask you how do you like it, unfortunately is not coming with the tipycal yougurt 🥵.

The half chicken is good but didn't come with any adding natural cut half lemon or any salad aside so it is hard to swallow solely as less you ask for some Mayo like me but unfortunately that request in my case was served 10 minutes late so I ate the chicken practically cold, however the Waiter bring me at last and say sorry about it.

Not climate restaurant only fans so not good for the new UK spanish summer lately.
