Cafe Leads — Restaurant in London

I went to this café for the first time as it was conveniently located next to the Royal London Hospital. I honestly will never come back to this place again. I don’t feel safe. I feel let down by the staff who allowed three people to be rude and target a pregnant doctor. Would I recommend this place to my other doctor, nursing paramedic, admin or pharmacy colleagues, absolutely not! Do I feel safe to bring my child here? Absolutely not. Do I think the owners could have done more to make me feel safe in his restaurant? Yes, but instead he defended that these people’s behaviour was okay and offered to move me somewhere else. He had the audacity to think “I offered a discount” was enough. 65p off for a meal which I couldn’t even enjoy? I felt so scared that I wanted to run out the restaurant but of course wouldn’t want to leave without paying. I left the restaurant in tears and all the way home. Come here if you need to grab a quick coffee and go or targeted but if you want to sit down and enjoy a cup of tea or meal and do some work/ revision/ even a friendly chat with your colleagues, it’s not a place I...

Don't be fooled by it's simple exterior, this cafe is a hidden gem in London! The food is truly excellent and the staff are all lovely (especially Minhaj), who went out of his way to take care of us each time we came. No matter how busy they are, they're always polite and welcoming, and the food is consistently great! You absolutely have to try the hot food, especially the chicken skewers! You wouldn't think a small cafe could dish out such incredible food! We've been back for the chicken skewers 4 times now and have no doubt that we'll be back again shortly! I have been there twice due to it being in a convenient location, but both times extremely disappointed, definitely won't be a third. First time I got a panini just simple filling cheese and onion the cheese was not melted and it was just a hard baguette not even toasted. Next time i I thought I would play it safe and stick to a cold sandwich, the bread was rock solid like it had been sat there for atleast a good few days, and also got chicken pasta, it was just pasta tossed in oil with no taste. Really disappointing. Will not ever be trying this place again and most definitely would not...
