Cafe Plum — Restaurant in London

Having a good café is not just about the food and drink. It's about the service you get as well. One of the things I struggle with as a delivery driver delivering people's groceries is planning my day. When you have been up since 3am and out to work since 4am and on the road there comes a point when, without being crude, you need the toilet..Sundays are particularly tough as not everywhere is open or places open later. Today I went to one cafe, to buy a coffee, cake and use the facilities and they would not let me.. Needless to say I did not buy anything from them. Fortunately I found Cafe Plum and the young lady allowed me to use the toilet. This helped me out massively and I was very grateful, thank you..I also bought a coffee and cake which I would very much recommend. I had a nice natter with the young lady working there who was very friendly, professional and plesent... I will definitely come back again and this will be my go to café in this area..I will also spread the word with my 200+ drivers... I will also make it clear that you need to buy something if you pop in!!! Thank you for helping out a lone driver...

Honestly such rude unfriendly staff that can’t cope with customers! While I was waiting to check on an order (that they forgot) they actually said jokingly but loudly enough for anyone to hear; “we’re closed no more orders!”

The staff literally huff and puff when you order or ask them anything, like your presence is an inconvenience. Sadly, this isn’t a one off, I’ve been a few times a week for the past 7 months as it’s so close to me, but it’s always the same unfriendly service.

It’s a shame as it’s a decent place with decent food, but if it’s service with a smile you’re after, go...

The coffee is great, the food is good, the venue is nice.. the service could be improved. It is not very friendly or welcoming, just a "hello" or a "hi" would do the trick, which is the very minimum, but instead you get nothing.. also.. after having finished my coffee and breakfast, the waitress cleared the table and I politely asked her if I could please order one more coffee, she replied that she can not take orders, and she left, she did not send someone else to take the order or told someone else that I would like to order a coffee and the place was not...
