Caffe Pronto — Restaurant in London

Now just for the record i have not complained about a restaurant/takeaway in very long time and that being said i have only ever complained once.. Now I ordered from just eat a cafe takeaway for lunch. I ordered a Moroccan pancake a breakfast baguette and a choco milkshake. The order took longer than expected to get to me (even though i was a few hundred yards from the cafe). When the order came i went upstairs opened it up, and took the baguette out. The sausage to me smelt funny, so i called and firstly made sure it was a normal pork sausage... It wasnt! Which worried me as i was about to bite into beef which is against my religion. I mentioned on the website it did not specify that the cafe ised beef or even turkey bacon which it again on my eyes should so that customers avoid this mishap. The owner... Yes the owner bluntly told me that nothing can be done and I should have known to ask before ordering. I was now let down by such ignorant attitude. No refund or exchange was offered. I even said i was happy to have a cafe deliver and i most prob would have ordered every other day. He basically said throw it away or eat it. Next was the fact that I did not recieve a Moroccan pancake, instead it was just a wrap. The worst was It was contaminated by an odd piece off paper that somehow ended up in the middle of the wrap. When i took a couple bites it revealed it self.. This now had me fumin! I called back and explained what had happened and he said no. This cant be true. And basically assumed i was lying. I ended up walikng up to the cafe and the manager went into the wrap and attempted to make an excuae for it. With no apology. I requested a refund of everything and he refused saying i have to contact Just eat. I was appalled by the lack of respect and service. I left leaving the food there and contacted Just eat. They said an investigation has ro happen and within 48 hour it will be settled. I had no call back or refund and it has been more than two weeks since. I contacted juat eat on the 2nd of march 2020, and they say they are now going to approve and process the refund. I will never order from there again....

Kamal and the team at Caffe Pronto are friendly and serve impeccable breakfasts. This morning following a hospital visit, I enjoyed poached eggs, avocado, mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes on sourdough. The presentation and seasoning was magnificant, chili, vinegerette, salt, pepper. I had the breakfast with a flat white and the meal came to just over 10 pounds. The Denmark Hill has lots of options and is competitive - don't walk past Caffe Pronto without giving it a go - you will not regret it. I will return with frequency and my compliments to...

I was looking for a halal English breakfast and am so glad I can across this lovely place ❤️ the food was delicious, service was brilliant and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. I had an English breakfast with a cappuccino, there was no fuss swapping out the rashers for something else. Can’t wait to return and check out more items on their menu. It was extremely heartwarming to see all the Palestinian flags🇵🇸 Also, from looking at photos on Google, looks like it’s been refurbished within the last year, absolutely...
