Original review: Staff cleanliness and professionalism is appalling

Response to Chaiiwala and added context: So to fake customer care, Chaiiwala wrote saying I should fill in a form. In reality, I filled in that said form before I wrote my review a WHOLE week before Chaiiwala wrote their comment below. Guess what, it’s been over a month now and still no response. Context why I wrote the review, member of staff was cleaning when I placed my order, she wanted to handle my order without washing her hands first. I kindly asked her to wash her hands for health and safety reasons, she carelessly just rinsed her hands (didn’t wash them) and took my cup to the back and then came back with a mischievous grin. When I asked her why she took my cup to the back she gave a lame excuse. I didn’t feel comfortable drinking this so my money was wasted and the experience was quite bad. I raised this with Chaiiwala, you’d think they’d take cleanliness, Health and Safety and lack of professionalism that endangers the health of customers seriously but they...

The BEST food I’ve ever had hands down! I’m a really, really fussy eater but wow 10/10. I’ve had 3 orders now and every single time is DELICIOUS !!

I had the chicken tikka wrap, WOW the flavours just dance perfectly together. Cooked to perfection, with a generous portion of chicken chunks. 10/10

The butter chicken wrap.. WOW this is my favourite!! I’m actually addicted!

And the chips wow, cooked perfectly, not too soggy or too hard - just right!

The packaging design is amazing, that really stood out to me which is why I ordered in the first place, even before realising how amazing the food is. Everything is always packaged really well too. This is my new go to place!

The positives: the store is nice and the staff are polite.

But the food - NOT GOOD, where do I start. we ordered: aloo-tikki burger, which was overly salted and sour (pickle, tamarind sauce) coleslaw - wasn't a pleasant experience chicken sheekh roll, which was okay but overly minty pink chaaii, which used to be good but the batch we got was quite bad with most of the pistachios almost tasting like chalk / powder, completely losing the crunchy texture (I guess from sitting in tea for hours from before)

Not a pleasant experience at all. We have had much better quality food and beverage from tea rooms...
