Amigos Burgers & Shakes-Acton — Restaurant in London

Came here for a takeout. There was a fat woman who served us. When we were ready to order the woman was taking our order (worth £25) we decided to add the chipotle fries. So we paid extra. When they gave us our order, we left the shop and went back to our accom, to find no chipotle chips.

So we decided to go back without our order and ask the people for the chipotle fries. The white fat woman decided to come and speak to us. She shouted at me and told me she put the seasonings for the chips separately in a packet (indirect making me feel blind) and told me to go back home to check my order properly . I kept quiet and came back home. When I checked my order I didn’t find anything(at this point I was so frustrated) the only thing I found was a bunch of tissues packed in little bags that look similar to the seasoning packets.

I went back (the woman who told me she already put the chipotle seasoning in my order), comes walking to me after chatting to her colleagues and gives me the seasonings. 🤔No apology , nothing. This was the third time I came back to amigos to collect something. I was frustrated (at this point my food was cold at home) so I told her why did u send me back ? If u had the seasoning the whole damn time? She told me that she asked me to wait as she was getting the seasonings. In my head I’m thinking , you literally sent me back and told me you already put it in ???? so I asked her why she was lying ? She literally sent me back and told me to check my order. The woman goes like you’re a liar. I told her it wasn’t right for her to shout at me. She was like I didn’t shout at u. Bruhh. My blood was boiling. If you ever encounter this woman /read this review, please fire this woman as she is so rude. She didn’t even smile once and kept lying like a rat. She even called me a liar?? Why would I even go back 3 times ????? All I wanted was my meal! Amigos workers are actually the worst people man, learn some manners!

If u see her she’s a light, fat woman. Idk if she’s a manager or what but she’s the worst person I’ve ever spoken to in retail, and I’m a calm person too. I don’t even argue with people. This was on the 23/02/22, check the cctv. Worst person ever. Do not go here as they’re rude and don’t even smile man....

I’ve just read your reviews and many people have issues with their orders too, staff talking instead of making the food , order being incomplete (like mine) and them being extremely rude.... amigos management needs to fix these things and hire staff that can actually...

I was really on the fence to leave a review here. I noted queue of people and was wondering what is the fuss about. So I had to have a go before going for larger orders. I tried Amigos burger meal. The staff were very friendly and helpful actually. Waited about 10min my order was ready, served in nice tray with tissue and sauces etc. I went for 6oz which was a reasonable size and was enough for me. The first bite said this is good but perhaps not good enough to my expectation. Something about the texture of the meat was not right. I say it was just about avarage; you could taste the sauce more than than the taste of good quality meat and that was lacking. I really struggled to finish the burger and usually that never ever happen to me when comes to eating burgers. The fries was OK but from experice told me the oil needed changing, didn't taste right, and not sure if they cook other things in that oil!. In fairness I them i still say good value for money and perhaps good for students on the budget; but if you are after a high quality experience this is certainly not the place to be. I will not go back there again, in terms of rating I say it was 5/6 out of 10 not more. Their issue is quality of meat is not good enough, and if that improves they may improve their ratings too. I am sure people are willing to pay more for better quality. I struggled to digest it properly even after 3 hours. Usually this never happen to me. I still say people should have a go but if you are after a high quality burger this is not the place. Nothing special at all, and glad I didn't go...

Ive waited 30mins for my meal and nothing yet ... people b4 me and after me have received there food but me . Not a good start but lets see if the food pulls it back .

40mins wait later . 42 minute and food has arrived , not what i ordered so back it goes 45 minutes : right order comes through , no drink so i have to get up again and get it :) . Now the food ...

Mexican gourmet 10oz burger tasted noticeably dry and hard to get through so i had to drown it in sauces .. chips were nice and so were the sauces ...

Overall for me this place didnt do well despite the reviews it holds . I shouldn’t have to wait 45 minutes for my meal and truth is i waited so long i was put off .

However i believe this place deserves another chance and il redo another review in the future and update the final review .

live review 22 mins later and I’m still waiting... 28 mins later and my food has arrived . To be honest this is the second time ive had to wait long for my food.. off putting.

Chicken burger came cold and quite bland and i wouldn’t buy that again.

Gourmet 6oz texan was really nice and tasty and i would get it again . Fries was normal. Prices are around £7-£8 per meal . Parking is quite tricky as the shop is on the high road however , across the road from the shop there is a big Morrisons 😉. Pros: food is nice and at a very decent price and free parking across the road. Cons: limited seating, very long...
