My recent visit there left me thoroughly impressed, not just because of the consistently great food, but especially because of the outstanding customer service – something that is far too rare these days.
From the moment I walked through the doors, there was a welcoming atmosphere that immediately set this branch apart from others. The staff were attentive, cheerful, and efficient, but one team member, in particular, stood out – Jai.
Jai is the embodiment of what top-tier customer service should look like. He greeted everyone with a warm smile, spoke politely and respectfully, and went out of his way to ensure that every customer felt looked after. It’s clear that Jai takes pride in his work, and his attention to detail and friendly demeanor made my experience at Chaiiwala far more enjoyable than I anticipated.
I was dining with a few friends, and Jai took the time to ask if we had any dietary preferences or allergies before taking our order. That level of consideration is rare, and it showed a real commitment to customer care. He explained a few of the newer items on the menu with genuine enthusiasm and made excellent recommendations – we ended up trying a few dishes we wouldn’t have otherwise considered, and they were delicious!
I’ve been to several Chaiiwala locations before, but this visit to the Ealing branch was by far my best yet, and it’s mainly thanks to the exceptional service I received. Jai deserves recognition for going above and beyond. His kindness, professionalism, and enthusiasm are exactly what keep customers like me coming back.

They honoured me a repalcment the next day. I called up, and they just about honoured my food, so when I went to go and pick up the replacement, they got my falooda incorrect (I paid for this). I ordered Rose specifically as I have an allergy to mango. I ordered a loaded chips without chilli. I reiterated 3 times no chilli and Ashvini confirmed. I received a mango falooda and loaded chips with chilli. I called her back to let her know and she told me that she couldn't do anything about it. I asked for a manager, conveniently there wasn't one around. I then advised her that I'm happy to send a picture of the chips with chilli, she hung up and now no answer half an hour later. She was rude and abrupt and now I have to take an extended break to figure out some food. This is twice this week.
Please take your business to Karak Chai a few shops down, their customer service far exceeds this woman Ashvini's and furthermore better quality of food. I've been coming to Chaiwala for the last 2 years and since NHS staff have 10% privilege, I will not be wasting my time here anymore.

Plates are cleared from the table but waitress won’t even wipe the table. I indicated the waitress, can you please clean the table. She didn’t even bother to look at me.
Second time when she came back, i told her again, all she did was bought the blue roll. but tea stains were still on the table. She went back for the third time to the kitchen and got the spray, did 5 second wipe. Tea stains were still visible. Finally I told waitress, give me the spray and blue roll, I will clean it myself.
Staffs seriously need more training on how to clean the tables properly.
Tables are not cleared in timely manner. While I was having my meal, another group of customer came and they literally have to clear the table themselves.
I think they should just create a clearing station, leave alcohol wipes on the station, leave a note “Dear Customers, Please clear and clean the table for yourself.”
