Chick'n'Chaii — Restaurant in London

I live just round the corner and was delighted when I found out chicken cottage was opening. I've been there 5 times now and on the most part it's been ok. That said almost every time I've been there they've forgotten one part of the order; 1st time they forgot the fries with my box meal, 2nd time I didn't get a side, 4th time I ordered extra wings and I just got the standard order. Small things but as I tend to pick stuff up on the way back I haven't complained. Some might even question why I actually went back. Well I'm now part of that group. My 5th time, and now final time, has ended up with me making toilet visits every 15 minutes. I've got food poisoning, imagine it was chicken that was left out to long.

My 1 star review may be a little biased based on how I'm currently feeling but anywhere I buy food from and it makes me sick, cAnt really...

Was served by an older gentleman whose customer service skills were non-existent. He spoke to me an a manner which indicated confusion, all I was ordering was a chicken burger.

I ordered The meal as a takeaway and I was presented with a can of Coke instead of using the soft drink machine. I can only presume the soft drink machine was either not functioning or this was a cost saving measure.

The food was stringy and tasted stale it probably was cooked well beforehand and may not be the best quality meat. After a few bites I had to throw my bag in the bin. It was seriously that bad. I have been to loads of chicken cottage restaurants all over London but this was the worst one I have...

I went here after many years only because I don't come to this side of Wimbledon Park often. I was so happy to see its still open after the pandemic.

The elderly owner who is 76 years old was a delight to talk to and he served me and my kids with so much love and he really made us feel welcome.

I loved my grilled chicken burger meal, even my husband was surprised how quickly I finished my meal as it was absolutely delicious and I am a very fussy eater.

My kids loved their meals also and they loved how we were greeted and served.
