Chick'n Box — Restaurant in London

I went to Chick’n Box following a very positive recommendation. You can hardly walk two steps in Croydon without coming across the ubiquitous peri peri chicken shop - so you are always a bit cautious when someone tells you it’s a cut above the rest.

The shop is laid out spaciously, bright, with room for people to place orders without getting in the way of people eating at tables. Service was polite and efficient, despite the very busy time of the day.

I ordered the very peri chicken salad box. The box was clear, so you’re able to see the variety of fresh salad and sliced chicken pieces. The chicken was very well seasoned and marinated, cooked to perfection with a chargrilled taste. Eating a salad in the winter which is filling, fresh and to also have the chicken warm is not an easy feat. It was also a great portion size, and not the usual overpriced salads you can find in the market a dime a dozen that do little to fill you up.

Rolled here with the mandem and was initially put off by the prices. I got 6 hot grilled wings with fries and a Coke for £6.49 but it worth every penny. The wings were LENG. My tummy was rumbling after the exhilarating hike from West Croydon station. My tongue tingled with anticipation as I was about to discover what my £6.49 tasted like. The wings were beautiful and had a sexy sauce. The stupendous flavours let bare endorphins loose. The endorphins rushed around my neural paths like ADHD chickens. These are the wings of jannah firdaus. The chips were tantalising. They taste was perfectly balanced. Furthermore, the staff were safe. Bossman was able to buss good jokes and was on job. And boss lady was as leng as the wings and worked diligently to provide the best experience for the customers. Her smile uplifted the mood. Been to many chicken shops in many parts of the UK during my lifetime but none even come close to Chick'n Box. I am a regular here and have made this place my second home. Nice, friendly staff always there to help. The restaurant itself is in a perfect location and the decor is very easy on the eye for anyone who wants to sit in and eat.

The food itself is of the highest quality and is by far the best quality and value for food out of all the chicken shops i have been too. You have a variety of choices and all are equally as tasty as each other. My personal favourite is the Peri Peri Chicken.The prices are extremely competitive and overall you will not get better value for money anywhere in the UK.

I would say watch out KFC and Nandos as its only a matter of time before Chick N Box goes national with franchises and will soon become a market leader...
