Beware of this restaurant.

My younger sister was recently discriminated against by the restaurant owner – all because of a bizarre "no students" policy. She wasn’t wearing a uniform, it wasn’t during school hours, and yet the owner refused to let her in. It was a Saturday. I had to personally come just so she could be served.

To make things worse, the owner told her that next time, she should order online instead of coming in person. This was incredibly dismissive and unfair, especially considering she did nothing wrong.

This rule makes no sense, especially considering that a large portion of the restaurant's customers are students. If there’s a concern about managing younger groups, a better approach would be a sign stating something like “Only 1–2 students allowed at a time” during specific hours, rather than an outright ban.

To make matters worse, in order for me to enter, I was asked to “prove I’m not a student,” which is honestly one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever heard. After I did so, the owner still insisted my sister wait outside because she wasn’t allowed in. I completely disagreed, she was with me, not in a group, and posed no problem whatsoever.

I’m a local and have visited this place multiple times, but after this incident, I won’t be coming back. The way the situation was handled was unprofessional, and the owner even went as far as to say it would be the last time he’d serve me (which frankly, I don’t care about). Ordered on just eat, food is actually really nice and fresh, however disappointed on the size and value for money of the portions, ordered boneless family meal instead of opting for the chicken bucket, as kids prefer boneless and the popcorn chicken, however the size of the boneless chicken dippers was so small, its what you get in a strip burger, you would expect the sizes to be much bigger, £24.99 for a popcorn chicken and very small peices of boneless chicken dippers 4 chips and 1 coleslaw, the website did say 2 sides only got 1.. Not really worth it.. .apart from that the food it self is actually very tasty and I would recommend the place but avoid buying the boneless bucket just buy the wings or chicken so you aint disappointed.. If kids like chicken popcorn they wont be disappointed with this shops one. But as i said before avoid the boneless chicken as nice as it is, its too small.. Worst customer service from one specific staff. I ordered one chicken meal and 5 chichen wings and the guys refused arrogantly to give the offer of £1 for 2 chicken wings. As he said, the reason is I said 5 chicken wings so I have to be charged the price of that, even though the advertisement (2 chicken wings for £1 if you order a meal) is everywhere in the shop. If you don't want people to have the offer, then don't offer to people. I have been there several times, the food and customer service was nice, very disappointed this time. Also, the guy was criticising his colleague all the time when I was there (maybe because he is new starter and doesn't know much about the procedure), in a very rude manner. There were other customer there so I feel sorry for his colleague. That guy used the worst manner to serve customer and treat his colleague. I do hope he takes proper manner training before...
