THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED.
My horrible experience started when arrived at Chopstix Stratford around 6:15pm with my partner after a long day 21/08/25. We just wanted a treat as we normally enjoy the food. After queuing for about 5 minutes the person who took our order (lady with glasses) was very rushed and didn't even give us a second to think about our options. I asked for noodles with a double helping of soy chicken and savoury sauce. I wanted the savoury sauce on the noodles and not the chicken, which is a reasonable request. However because she seemed so determined to move onto the next customer she omitted the savoury sauce. When I said about the sauce she said "I've already put the chicken on now" as if it was my problem. She made me feel like it was my mistake and coerced me into ordering another box made the right way! Unacceptable behaviour. Then the real trouble came to when we were to pay for the boxes. We told the lady in a Hijab who was at the till that we didn't want one of the boxes because it wasn't made how we wanted (savoury sauce on the noodles). She then looked at us as if we said the food was terrible and we want a refund! She exclaimed "I can put the sauce on the noodles" and took some chicken out, poured sauce onto a corner section of the noodles and put it in front of us. When my partner confronted her about the missing chicken she reacted very angrily as if we had insulted her entire family. We then said we're not paying for this and boy let me tell you the look on her face... She reacted like we had thrown the food at her, that's how angry she was! All because they couldn't listen to a simple instruction or even try to fix it like normal human beings. I've literally lost my faith in people after this encounter. The food isn't even that good. She then said "don't you know how chopstix works?!" Well excuse me for not knowing it's being operated like a zoo ran by children. All staff need to be put through rigourous communication training and the chefs to stop using so much sugar in their food. The lady then had the nerve to say don't come back again! Like I would waste my money here....
Read moreWhilst I do enjoy the food l wish the service was more pleasant. What I’m about to explain has happened twice now and I find it ludicrous and really bad for business.
I was queuing up for food and lots of Asian people were in front of me and they were getting large servings of toppings on the rice/noodles and it was covering the base on the medium and large box’s. When I looked at mine could see the noodles/rice and had very minimal peices of meat. When I asked if I could top it up the girl behind the till said £1 for more. So I politely explained that everyone else was getting bigger portions and I’ve payed for a large. She was unwilling to give more and explained each portion only comes with 3 pieces each.. So I turned the order down. I’m only willing to pay for a fair service. I felt being a white guy that the Asian guy behind the counter was more looking after his Asian people with portion sizes. I believe this to be true as when I have turned up with my wife who is Asian and let her get the service she gets the bigger portions as well. Also if it’s limited to three pieces you cant serve someone in front of me with in excess of six pieces per portion and expect me to pay more for same treatment. Really bad customer service to let me walk away at nearly closing time for the sake of a couple of pieces of meat to match other customers when I was clearly given less than...
Read moreJust visited this branch an hour or so ago and what a rude member of staff Saif was. Firstly, he didn't listen that I asked for egg fried rice, then he asked what toppings I wanted and I can choose 3, I told him my 3 and then he passed it over to a colleague who asked me what my 4th topping was, I said I ordered the large box and it's 3 toppings which I've already told your colleague about. He looked at me and said no you only told me 2 and I said I told you 3 as you was asking me what I wanted, if you didn't hear that not my issue then he starts to laugh and smirk at me and tell his colleague I am stupid. Wow, is this the type of people you have working there? When I asked to speak to a manager a man next to him jokingly said he is new I will speak to him with a smile in his face! What type of a manager is this? Anyway I got to the till and spoke to a nice young lady who listened to me and agreed it was not acceptable and that she would have a word with him. I asked to speak to the manager again as I wanted head office details but she told me she was also a manager. She reassured me that he would be spoken to. To talk to customer the way he did and the other manager is absolutely ridiculous. I want to speak to someone about this so please send me details of head office or a area manager.
