Colonnade Cafe — Restaurant in London

Coming from Alberta, Canada, mourning the passing of my father this last February, I found solace and peace walking through both the East and West Cemeteries at Highgate. The atmosphere was serene and reflective—exactly what I needed during such a difficult time. After my walk, I stopped at the Colonnade Café, where I was warmly greeted and served what might honestly be the best latte I’ve ever had. What a great cafe, in the forecourt of the magnificent West Cemetery in Highgate. The barista (Louie) was so nice and helpful. Chatting and generally making the experience relaxing. He even commented positively on my coffee paintings of cemeteries - I shall make sure he gets a copy of the finished book. The coffee, both espresso (very fruity) and cappuccino (very creamy) hit the spot...
