**⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Vibrant Taste of Lebanon in the Heart of Chelsea – Comptoir Libanais Delights!** If you’re craving **fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented Lebanese cuisine** in London, **Comptoir Libanais in Chelsea** is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step inside, the warm, colorful decor and inviting aromas transport you straight to the bustling streets of Beirut. ### **📍 Location & Ambience – A Feast for the Senses** Nestled in the stylish **Chelsea neighborhood**, just a short walk from the King’s Road, this restaurant is perfectly situated for a leisurely lunch, dinner, or even a quick bite while shopping. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it ideal for everything from casual catch-ups to celebratory meals. ### **🍽️ The Food – Fresh, Flavorful & Generous** Lebanese cuisine is all about sharing, and Comptoir Libanais delivers **an authentic, mouthwatering experience**. Standout dishes include: - **Mezze Platter:** A perfect introduction to Lebanese flavors, featuring creamy hummus, smoky baba ganoush, crispy falafel, and tangy tabbouleh. Restaurant Review: Comptoir Libanais on King's Road My partner and I decided to check out Restaurant Comptoir Libanais on a sweltering August day, with the temperature hitting around 26 degrees. The place wasn't too crowded when we arrived. The staff seemed a bit inexperienced, but they were paying attention to us. We ordered ciders to drink, but the glasses they brought had bits of leftover food stuck inside. I let the waiter know, and he didn't seem surprised, not really keen on fixing it. After insisting, he finally brought me a new glass and got us another cider. We tried a few different dishes: falafel, batata harra, halloumi cheese with fig, and spinach and feta börek. The halloumi cheese came with fig jam that was way too sweet and not fresh at all. The falafel was dry and cold, and the börek didn't taste like much, and there was no hint of feta cheese flavor. Here's the kicker – they added a 12.5% service charge to the bill, despite the fact that the service was subpar at best. What made matters worse was that the service charge wasn't optional. All in all, the experience was pretty bad. What's disappointing is that I've been to Comptoir Libanais before and had a good time, but this visit was a letdown. Maybe it's because it's summer and they have temporary staff – even the chef might be new. It's just a shame that this visit didn't turn out well. Nick

Food was OK, but not memorable at all. I had the lamb korma wrap with salad. Would not return for the food. I've had much better with middle eastern and Lebanese friends, and I can make better hummus than what was served to me here. The wraps are pre-assembled and you can tell by the time you get to the end of the wrap; the pita has gone tough. They don't even press it or char it. The korma's texture was uniform, with no grilled outside crisp or any such saving grace. On top of that, service was lackluster and I was charged a £1.25 service fee despite the fact that: I sat myself at a table, had to wave the waiter over to me from across the entire restaurant to get my order placed, had to wait for my drink after my food had arrived, and had to go to the counter to get the bill and pay because they'd forgotten about me. Oh, and I had to get cutlery from the adjacent table. And I just remembered I even had to get my own menu. All in all, I'd give the food 2 stars, and the service 1 star. Go get food elsewhere and you'll have a better experience. I spotted another little Lebanese place a bit Northeast of here, maybe that's a better bet.

I am very disappointed with my visit today. I have attached a picture of the person being extremely beyond rude to me and my 2 year old son. Before i get to what actually happened i just need to point out we asked for a highchair and i didnt notice untill i was taking my son out of it the sides were loose and parts of it were literally broken and hanging which was shocking. I was first served by a young polite man who took our order. When they brought over our drinks i opened the sparkly water bottle and poured it into a cup which was provided with ice and immediately noticed a dead fly floating in my cup which clearly was in there when they brought over the cup. I asked the man (pictured) to please give me another cup. He said its not our fault but okay i will change it. He then went inside took out the ice and the dead fly and poured the sparkly water back in the bottle and came back with the same bottle same cup same water that i poured in the cup and pretty much threw it at me on the table with no ice in the cup and walked away. I had to ask several times for small things like straw or extra sauce because they forgot as they were so busy running around and it made my eating experience so horrible just seeing so many people run around me while im trying to eat. If the picture is not clear i believe this man is italian from his accent and i think he may have been the one in charge today. My 2 year old son was so excited being out and eating with family. The man came over and yelled at him "what is it" and my son stopped talking and looked at him and the man said "oh what you shut up now" and i was furious but i did not say a single thing because i have a son looking up to me and i chose to bite my tounge and be polite despite his appalling behaviour. At the end when we wanted to pay a young man came over and asked if everything was okay and i just said yes to avoid any confrontation in front of my child. I am very disappointed with this man and the service of today as i usually come here when im shopping...

Edited post, the info and hello functions dont work and the restuarnt wont pick up the phone, so you have can this review.... Good evening,                    I've refrained from leaving  a zero or one star on google, as I've seen previous complaints and found the email address needed. My wife and I had the misfortune of visiting your Chelsea branch yesterday (Sunday 1st October) We received a warm welcome and was shown to our seats by a wonderful member of your team, and thats where the positives end. We ordered food and drink. The food arrived, i cut a piece of my kofta and it was cold, as were the chips. A waitress eventually turned up with our drinks, and when I said the food was cold, she offered to 're heat it', i said no i would prefer  to have a fresh one. After some time a different waitress came along and slammed my plate down, and loudly shouted at me in front of all the others that 'If you are going to lie about the food being cold dont eat half of it first. I cut one piece and tried a few chips, this waitress was so rude and accused me of lying about being served cold food. This waitress was extremely scruffy, uniform torn and untidy. She then ignored our table completely and we waited an age to get our bill, i assume she got what we think was the manager to bring our bill over. i explained what happened, he simply shrugged and said they were busy, would we like a free dessert or coffee?   i asked for the service charge to be taken off, which he did. the food was average at best and i have been rather unwell since the visit, i think you need to be aware that in this day and age with financial constraints that eating out for many is a luxury choice. The service was totally unacceptable,  We wasted the best part of £40 and we will not make that mistake again. i dont expect a response i just want you to know how bad the visit was, perhaps you have expanded too quickly looking for profit whilst leaving service to...
