As a guest of a dear friend visiting London for a brief two-night sojourn, I had the distinct pleasure of staying at the illustrious Beaverbrook Town House. It is, without question, a jewel of refinement and charm nestled in the heart of Chelsea. From the moment I stepped into this elegant retreat, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of understated luxury and impeccable taste. The interiors, a sublime blend of heritage-inspired design and modern sophistication, immediately caught my eye. Each detail, from the richly upholstered armchairs to the perfectly curated art adorning the walls, spoke of an establishment that understands the finer points of hospitality. The staff, ever attentive yet delightfully unobtrusive, ensured that our every whim was anticipated. The concierge, an absolute maestro of their craft, arranged an itinerary for us with such deftness that I suspect they may be clairvoyant. The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort. My quarters offered a sumptuous bed dressed in the finest linens, alongside a view that framed the city in its best light. The bathroom was a marvel, its marble fittings and luxury toiletries a testament to the hotel’s commitment to excellence. Breakfast was equally divine, with perfectly brewed coffee and a menu that catered to every conceivable preference. What truly sets Beaverbrook Town House apart is its ability to balance grandeur with warmth. Despite its five-star pedigree, it feels delightfully intimate—like staying in the home of a generous and impeccably tasteful host. I departed with reluctance, carrying fond memories and a promise to return at the earliest opportunity. For any traveler seeking an experience of true distinction in London, Beaverbrook Town House is unparalleled. Yours faithfully, Lord...
Read moreDO NOT STAY HERE - HORRENDOUS THEFT My suitcase which contained a priceless family heirloom was stolen from the Hotel while staff left it stored unsafely and in full access to the general public. I was forced to cancel my flight home to Australia and remain in London while I was left to unsuccessfully try and chase my suitcase across London in horrific circumstances.
Weeks later I am still chasing the Hotel to be accountable and I am thousands of pounds out of pocket. This is not to mention the distress the theft has caused me and my elderly relatives. Telling my Great Aunt of the loss of our family heirloom was gut wrenching. Management has left me chasing updates, dealing with bureaucracy and feeling completely invisible. I am shocked for a Hotel that advertises itself as luxury for such a pathetic response. I never write reviews but in good conscience I cannot let others considering staying at the Hotel not know the way paying customers are treated - and I was a returning guest! I have not even been offered a refund for a stay where the Hotel left my treasured possessions to be stolen. If you value your belongings and safety, do...
Read moreHonestly one of the best stays that I have EVER had while in London. I have booked hundreds of nights in London hotels from 5* to Holiday Inns, but Beaverbrook Townhouse is the best. Check-in was a breeze, the hotel is small and lovely, the staff are absolutely incredible, especially Trudi. She is so warm and welcoming, one feels as though you are all old friends. The rooms are huge by London standards, fully stocked with drinks and nibbles, toiletries, and books!! I am so absolutely impressed with this place that I am gushing. Access to Cadogan Gardens is a huge bonus. I guess what I am trying to say is that you just feel special. Thanks Trudi and the...
