I came here solo this time Used to visit this resturant almost on every weekend when i was studying in the UK 3 years back! Staff were nice at that time and they remained to be the same , well done. The staff were so welcoming and friendly especially Ms. Eva ? ( wearing a green shirt) She was incredibly awesome and welcoming and very understanding that it was raining outside , although the place was crowded and busy she asked me to wait inside to avoid the rain, very considering professional person! I came alone so it was easy to get a table quicker , other who are +2 were approximately asked to wait 30-40 minutes Although the start was nice and welcoming but unfortunately later on , no one passed by my table to ask if i need anything , not the waiter who served was helpful much in regards to drink choices and “best sellers” reminder when i asked , she kept saying it’s taste dependent , which i know but just wanted good reminder of what is the BEST SELLER and highly recommended but she was not helpful much, which made me not order a drink lol just had the breakfast i wanted Negative points for improvement;if possible 1- Needs so lighting in my opinion to give the fresh feeling of a morning breakfast? Some fresh sun light ? Bigger windows and better arrangement of tables i guess , i feel the big sofas and huge bar is occupying a big place ! I felt the place is quite dark but cozy at the same time Music; would be better and nicer if was more of slow or things representing morning for breakfast time , but its taste at the end. 2- Should allow opportunity for table reservation, as i have requested my office go contact the resturant to book a table but they regret to say that they accept walk in only. 3- Although food was extremely delicious and nice but i find value of money quite high,or within higher limits,it would be very nice to accommodate more people with better affordable slightly lower prices. Portion of food is good to acceptable in my opinion. 4-Most importantly for me , i wish they can provide photos of menu in their menu list so people can get to see orders in a better way. 5-Cleanliness; the bathrooms and toilets were clean and smelled nice. Also the resturant overall, however the table when i came was NOT CLEAN , had revenant of food on it and was not completely clean to be honest, felt shy to ask for cleaning it,and no more tissues on table provided which wasn’t ideal for me. Otherwise allover experience is nice and lovely Worth visiting You will like the resturant

Granger & Co. - Worth a visit I had to review my dining experience at Granger & Co. in Sloane Square for an editor, and I thought it was worth sharing my thoughts here as well. Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was greeted with a warm smile, and a well-located table was promptly prepared for me. The menu and a glass of water were brought to my table right away, although it did take approximately 31 minutes for a staff member to come and take my order. Even though I indicated that I was dining alone, I was served two glasses of water. I'll give the benefit of the doubt, assuming the delay may have been due to a misunderstanding, thinking I was expecting someone else. The server, who was dressed in a green shirt and likely part of the management team, was polite and professional, though not particularly outstanding. I noticed that breakfast was still available for me to order, even though the usual time limit had passed. This was considerate, as I had arrived on time, but my order was served later. My coffee arrived promptly, within 3 minutes, and the table was set with cutlery and napkins a few minutes later. The food was served within 15 minutes, and it was a delightful experience in terms of taste, quality, and portion size. In terms of pricing, Granger & Co. offers affordable options. The eggs and sourdough cost £8.5, and adding bacon is an additional £4.5, making the plate £13 in total. With a £3.4 flat white and a 12.5% service charge, the total bill came to £18.9, which I found reasonable. After settling the bill, I appreciated that I wasn't rushed to leave my table, especially in a bustling area like Sloane Square. In conclusion, my lunch experience at Granger & Co. was overall quite enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the staff were polite. The only drawback was the extended waiting time, which slightly impacted my overall rating. Nonetheless, I have positive memories of my lunch and intend to return, this time for leisure rather than work. I rate this branch a 3.7/5, which I'd round up to a 4-star rating here.

The queue and wait, was highly undesirable. Totally understand though, as in normal restaurants people book, and fail to attend, and restaurants end up with the loss - or charge no-show fee, people may not book -- skip no-show fee, they save a great table for a ghost and when they don't show, no revenue, an empty table... tough So, arrived there 12:20 on a lovely sunny Sunday early October. Big long queue to get my name on waiting list - reached front of queue and left my mobile number at 12:30 (not too bad!) to be pinged when a table became available, advised it might take 30min. Went to browse the region, not much to see, luckily around 12:45 a text msg - went back there, another small queue for my table, another5 - and finally at 13:05 a table, but there were no chairs... another 5 At 13:10 and that was a "short wait" as i was told, I had menu and was choosing my food, 50 min after having arrived. Waitress reappeared, after another 20, at 13:30 my patience due to low sugar symptoms, waning, she mentined she'd be back which she did, at 13:40... Now the positives! A great variety of food options, very gourmet I ordered a salad for my brunch, and a smoothie - se photo, all lovely fresh and delicious ^_^ The description included "furikake" and no furikake came, and we had to complain, but hey, those mistakes happen... The location is great too, we sat outside, and was nice and warm, and sunny, like a Summer day but in Autumn The place was buzzying with people chatting away and being happy of a Sunday afternoon! Atmosphere wise is a gorgeous lovely place. Maybe it's me who's getting too old to be in these queues, waiting long 10 minutes here and there, and lound noisy environments... But it is wonderful and full of young souls who are full of life 20s to 30s not my age range LOL thank you though the food was nice, and the place is beautiful

We visited Granger & Co in Chelsea for lunch, anticipating a delightful meal. We ordered two chicken schnitzels, each priced at £25.50. A 30-minute wait was acceptable to us, but the subsequent experience was profoundly disappointing.

My chicken breast was excessively thick and alarmingly undercooked, it was not hot enough - displaying a pronounced pinkness throughout. Given that my partner is a professional chef who owns 2 restaurants , he immediately recognized the severity of the issue. He very discreetly informed the waitress, who insisted the chicken was fully cooked and summoned the manager.

The manager’s response was shockingly unprofessional and confrontational. She raised her voice, asserting that similar complaints had been dismissed by their suppliers as “veins in the meat.” While she did offer to replace the dish, stating it would take an additional 20 minutes, her escalating volume and accusatory tone made us feel humiliated and singled out in front of other customers . (We cannot help but still question her behaviour.)

Feeling deeply uncomfortable, I quietly declined the replacement, and my partner returned his dish as well, concerned about the kitchen’s handling of our meals. The manager removed the schnitzels from our bill but still charged us for water, chips, and included the service charge. Considering the lack of service and our profound disappointment, this additional charge felt unjustified.

Adding to our dismay, the shared toilets were in a deplorable state — filthy and unhygienic!!!

Disturbingly, about an hour after, I began experiencing severe vomiting and diarrhea, which persisted throughout the night and into the following day. My GP diagnosed it as food poisoning.

We promptly emailed the restaurant detailing this harrowing incident.

Given the manager’s egregious conduct and the serious health implications, we feel compelled to share this distressing experience and advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering dining at Granger & Co Chelsea.

This incident underscores the critical importance of adhering to stringent kitchen hygiene standards to prevent foodborne illnesses such as salmonella.

In light of these issues, we hope the management takes immediate action to address both their service protocols and cleanliness standards to ensure no other clients endure a...
