Costa Coffee — Restaurant in London

On 03/01/2022 at 6:35pm I went to this place to collect promotion free birthday cake. I show them my Costa app & the code. One of untrained staff said it’s expired without even looking carefully to the Costa app. I showed her that it’s still valid till 07-01-2022 however she scanned the code many times then she said the code was not accepted in her system then she told me to go to another Costa shop (just because it free from Costa)

Untrained staff who don’t want to show you respect because you come to collect your free birthday cake.

I hope if google map creates an option for zero star

I asked her where is the manager then she told me come tomorrow. It’s really a joke to come again to collect this free birthday cake, even so the place was not clean.

Moreover, the promotion free birthday cake was collected at 18:55 just from Costa nearby Caledonian Rd & Barnsbury overground station just in front of CO OP.

The staff are very friendly as the lady wishes me a great birthday

After this bad experience I installed Pret A Manger app. They have an option to subscribe to drink cold & organic coffee drinks including tea for only £20 per month, up to 5 drinks per day & the first month is free as you can cancel at anytime.

The manager is rude and obnoxious, constantly screaming and shouting at her staff. She was screaming in one baristas face to the point he was a quivering wreck on the verge of tears. All because there was one cup outside. That’s it, one cup. That she could’ve easily have brought inside herself.

Awesome customer service 😀. The latte I always have is second to none and it's very big with really comfortable seating. Sitting outside in a sunny day is great watching the traffic and people on their way to work. I liked the fact that you can use the wifi whilst consuming their latte and sometimes I spoil myself with a carrot cake 🎂 or chocolate brownie...
