I purchased a mocha with Almond milk Sunday morning and the staff from this franchise have given me normal milk which I am ALLERGIC to.
When I first arrived both staff were fully stressed out and I even told them to take their time so that they won’t make mistake on my coffee. I suffer from lactose intolerance and it had made me sick all day on Sunday.
I spoke to the supervisor later physically (I had to go back there) because the contact number wasn’t working. She apologised but has given me the reason of having trainees. Which I replied I didn’t pay less for my mocha because they have trainees who are not trained on the importantance of food allergy. Or just purely incompetent. I left my name and number but no one has contacted me.
They have responsibilities to allocate staff with adequate skills or cares. If no one is skilled enough to manage the coffee shop, they should have closed it until they locate someone who does.
This was unacceptable. Someone could have been hospitalised due to their ignorance. I am taking my time to write this review so that it won’t happen again in future to me or others like me.

Read moreI recently went to London on a trip with my family. I wanted to get some quick work done so I decided to go to this Starbucks for some coffee and quiet time away from my family. The store itself looked nice. I had never been to a Starbucks outside of Germany and my English isn't that good. So I spoke to a nice young asian woman who helped me choose a nice drink. She was very friendly and the drink she made tasted good. Once I sat down and started worling suddenly another woman approached the nice one. She was very rude to her and then started arguing in front of everyone. I say arguing but it was very one sided. I assume the other woman must have been the manager and I'm truly shocked at how badly she treats her employees. I hope this is not normal in the UK but it was horrible. I quickly left along with other custormers as we did'nt want to hear an angry manager berate some poor server. I can't imagine that this is the first time something like this must have happened at the store because the other workers seemed far to used to their manaher treating them like that. Read moreMind you it was a solid 2.5 hours before closing, the staff member asked me to move (which I had multiple study tools out and set up on the table, not just a cup of coffee) to the other side of the store because he wanted to close the section early and clean?? Although it was a bit annoying, I did so just as he asked. Then not even 5 minutes later, a man came in and sat in the exact seat that I was asked to move from! The same employee saw and did not say a word! He completely accepted the new man to stay and sit in the exact spot which I was not allowed to sit in.
