The only good thing about this place is the decor. The food was served in a cardboard box and we were given wooden cutlery - even though we were eating in. The dessert was basically some weird looking crepe with some shop - bought sauce on top. I've visited many Creams cafes around the UK and this is sooo not the Creams standard that I'm used to! I wouldn't come here again even if the food was free!

The food was delicious, and the service was quick. The staff didn't greet us when we walked in, but were polite when they acknowledged us. My reason for taking off a star is that the huge window in the front of the shop was open. It was 1 degree outside. It wasn't pleasant in the shop (very cold), and we went home to eat instead...

They close the toilets for all customers after midnight, despite being open until 3am. They often lie and say vegan desserts (waffles and crepes) are out of stock when they don’t want to make any more. Also- they served us cake with a hair in it. Doesn’t surprise me that there are no hygiene standards.

The ice cream is amazing especially the cookies dough, Ferrero Roche and coconut flavour. Kinda taste like the ice cream in jamaica. The waffles are also amazing tastes like real wholesome waffles not with cheap fillers, which isreally nice. The staff are friendly and really friendly and keen to assist. However I suggest training them on how to package hot and crispy items like waffles and ice cream better in a way that the waffles don't get soggy in 2 minutes and don't put fresh icecream in the same bag as hot waffles. Also small pots are need to be provided in store for sauces like white chocolate and strawberry because they don't travel well on waffles or pancakes. By the time it arrives to a customers home it can be a big sloppy mess and sometimes workers put too much or too little sauce on it. Making it unedible. as much as I like the ice cream I wouldn't want to eat in the store. High tables and stools is not suitable for a decent indulgent dessert. , plus parents bring their children here, it's not safe for kids. And the chairs are uncomfortable, although, the decor is nice. Toilets are...

Avoid at all costs. Terrible service!!! I would give no stars to this establishment.I asked what dairy free items they had. They were all out of standard sorbets except the vegan chocolate cake. The waitress brought it to our table frozen. When I pointed this out she said she would warm it up. Then brought it back burnt. The manager came over to ask if I wanted an alternative but I had to I ask for a refund as they had no other options (not even plant based milk for a coffee). The manager refused my request as there was no manager in store that could process refunds and that he was only a senior member of staff not a real manager. This was a total lie. I proceeded to say that it was burnt and inedible so wanted a refund. I argued with them for what seemed like and eternity and eventually had to get another cake (non dairy free) for my friend which tasted dry and stale. Seating was also very uncomfortable and venue cold. Not the normal booths and good customer service experienced in other Creams...

So sorry to say this, I work in hospitality as well. I hate giving a bad review , but today I came to Creams with my friends. There was a guy at the till who was so arrogant and headstrong. I ordered a pudding and wanted an extra vanilla ice cream. He charged me extra and when the food came there was no ice cream. When I went and asked him he was arguing in front of my friends and other customers. After a long argument we got so annoyed and asked him to check our bill and there he knew he was wrong. He said he would give the ice cream in 5min so we went and sat down on our table. 5min later he called out me and pointed fingers at me and asked me to come take the ice cream from the counter. I mean seriously!! The management why are you ruining a good place by taking employees who don’t even know the basics of hospitality. I come here often but no other staff were rude expect this guy . I STRONGLY FEEL THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD DO...
