Last week sunday I took my family to this establishment. At the point of placing my order, the cashier informed me it's a 30 mins wait. I didn't have a problem with that so we continued to do the order. We sat down and waited. 35 mins passed and I went over to the cashier to find out about the order. He informed me it's being done, I'll get it in a couple of minutes. 5 mins later my husband and son's order arrives and mines didn't. They both order Oreo heaven, I ordered 2 scoops of gelato. I thought mines would have been the easiest to make and that his hands was full so he had to go back for it. So we waited another 5 mins I got up and go over to the counter to ask the waiter about completing the order. I showed him he only delivered the Oreo heaven, not the ice cream. They looked on the screens and there wasn't any order as such on it. They told me go sit down they would make it now and bring it. 5 mins later at this point my husband and son finished their dessert. A guy I didn't see before came over to clear our table and asked if we all okay. So I said no and explained what happened. He apologised and said I'll get it to you now. He did return very soon after with my order and said he added an additional chocolate fudge scoop. Then in eating my chocolate fudge there were like little icicles in it that reminded me of frozen hot chocolate, it wasn't creamy at all, I didn't enjoy it after waiting so long. I do not think I'll be returning to creams. I'll stick with Temptations or Afters.

I don’t really like writing negative reviews because we might just catch people on a bad day. But today I have to. Firstly we ordered cookie doughy with whipped cream, crepes with ice cream and a waffle with whip cream. The crepes and cookie dough were nice. But instead of receiving a waffle we received another set of crepes. We were slightly irritated because we waited 20m for the food. But again, we thought maybe it was a simple mistake, we went to ask the staff for a receipt to double check the order and he said “You have to go to the till to get the receipt.” We asked him to bring it to us and he said “Go and get it at the front.” After a bit of back and forth he gave it to us. We checked the receipt and saw that we did order the waffle which was not given (the second plate of crepes was given instead of the waffle which we didn’t order). We then went to the till to explain our order was wrong and was laughed at by the person at the till, it was rather disrespectful. We then received the waffle but this time we received a waffle with ice cream and not whipped cream. The waffle was undercooked… as you can see in the picture. To make matters worst we were charged extra, we noticed at the end when we were looking at the receipt but the service was so bad we didn’t bother asking for a refund we just left to get out and be done with it. I enjoyed my crepes but my cousin didn’t enjoy his waffle and the experience dampened the mood significantly. Severe improvement needed.

I recently visited Creams Italian Gelato, and while it seems to be quite a popular spot — with a steady stream of customers and a lively atmosphere — I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. There’s no denying they offer a large selection of flavours, which is great if you enjoy variety. However, the ice cream itself was just ok — quite sweet but lacking real depth of flavour, especially considering the premium price point. For what they charge, I expected something creamier and more authentic in taste. Service was fine given how busy it was, and the staff were doing their best to keep up with the weekend rush. That said, the toilet was filthy, which really took away from the overall experience. I understand it was a hectic day, but cleanliness in basic facilities shouldn’t be overlooked, no matter how busy it gets. Overall, Creams Italian Gelato was average at best — decent if you’re just after something sugary and cold, but not the place to go if you’re after a truly standout gelato experience. With some improvements to flavour quality and hygiene, it could easily live up to the hype.

WORST....EXPERIENCE...EVER....

Used to be a regular here and during all those times, the service was okay-ish but this time I cannot let that slide anymore.

I went in and ordered a oreo with a kinder bueno milkshake as usual and just after, I asked how long it would take (as they normally take 15 minutes for a milkshake...). In reply, I got a rude ''5-10 mins'' response from the waitress (who looked pakistani). Surprisingly, it only took 3 mins to come out which I thought was strange at first but was pleased with the service at the time. Just as I walked out, I took a sip of the milkshake and it tasted like bounty or mint or something else apart from the kinder bueno/oreo mix that I usually get. Because of the strange quick response, I thought they would've given me someone else's milkshake.

So I went back in and asked whether they've given me the right milkshake as it tastes like something else and the same waitress who took my order asked ''tastes like what'' (again in a very very rude fashion). Then another woman who makes the milkshakes came from the back. I explained to her the situation again and straightaway she was in denial. She said that's 100% a kinder bueno and oreo. Then I asked her to taste it and tell me. She tasted it and shouted back ''look that's a kinder bueno and oreo, I made it myself!''. I then calmly asked, can you make me another one and she bluntly said ''NO'. So I left the milkshake there, went Directors Cut down the road, got a kinder bueno/oreo mix.... and it was great! And it took no longer 5 minutes... and the staff members were very kind.

Before today I was a regular but now, I'll never come to Creams again and won't even recommend it here in Walthamstow as the staff are extremely rude and never helpful with customers. Word of advice to the owner: Hire new and experienced staff or train your current staff properly. I'd give it 0/5 if there was a 0 rating.

However, I would like to thank Creams for showing me today that not only are DC's milkshakes better than theirs, they're also 10 times quicker... even on a busy day. #DirectorsCutWalthamstow#NoMoreCreams ...

Absolutely atrocious service. Rude staff very argumentative. Not wheelchair friendly at all.I visited with 2 children in wheelchairs. I could just about manage to get the wheelchairs over the steps it was very hard to get into the shop. It took 3 of us to get the wheelchairs inside. Staff ignored us so I walked past the counter and chose to sit at a table which had enough space to manovre wheelchairs around it. 10 minutes later we were accused of sitting on a reserved table by a member of staff. There was clearly no reserved sign on the table , if there was I would not have sat there. When I pointed that out to staff he said he had made a mistake. Secondly the same member of staff said that I was rude. I had walked past him with my children and he said he shouted excuse me and I had not responded and for that he called me rude. The fact is my daughter in the wheelchair was upset at the time and I was busy talking to her and I did not hear anyone call. When I explained this to him he did not care he just carried on arguing with me and giving me a lecture about how all shops having different services and in cremes you have to order food at the counter etc. He told me he's sorry sarcastically and that he was only apologising because i was the customer. So quite clearly he didnt mean it. I agree with Roy's comments on the reviews he is 100% correct. Got a bunch of kids working there. No customer service skills whatsoever. We ended up walking out as that member of staff was so rude I did not want my children to be in that environment. We. Visited Afters Leyton. Amazing desserts. Excellent service and very friendly staff. We Will never visit cremes Walthamstow again. Its not only about the desserts. There are so many dessert shops you can visit now in Walthamstow and Leyton but customer service is a must for me. Wheelchair...
