Things I would do for Buffhello wings on wings Wednesday at the Collab: -Pray that my birthday is on a Wednesday -Lie about my birthday -Go to the Collab before going to my house after 9 months away because the pilot mentioned it being Wednesday -Advertise the wings (or I would if the shirt was in stock) -Use walking the dog as an excuse to go get wings -Order 36 wings over the course of one visit to try to make me sick of them (it did not work) If you happen to visit the Collab, and do not order the Buffhello wings, regardless of whether it is wings Wednesday or not? That is basically a crime. Shame on you. 14th Aug 2024 Forgive me Collab, for I have sinned. Ingredients: Two orders of Buffhello wings (Inc. two blue cheese sauces) Two pots of Buffhello sauce Store bought pizza (or homemade if you are better than me) Grated mozzarella Recipe: 1) De-bone and shred the wings (picture 2) 2) Mix shredded chicken with a pot of Buffhello sauce (picture 3) 3) Drink beer and whiskey 4) Cook pizza approx. 2/3rds of the way 5) Add shredded chicken and mozzarella (picture 4 and 5) 6) Finish cooking the pizza (picture 6) 7) Drizzle finished pizza with the blue cheese sauce (picture 7) 8) Enjoy the extra blue cheese sauce and Buffhello sauce at a later date. Or dip the crust.

I wanted to give Collab 5* - we love Signature Brew and We Serve Humans have been smashing the burgers at the Leyton Star - but it didn't hit the mark quite as strongly as I'd hoped. The menu is still decent, but arguably the two best items (The Frank and Beer Cheese Chips) are absent, and whilst the Kimcheese burger is nice, the texture is all off with the big, overly chewy chunks of kimchee. The chicken burger was great though, really top notch. So crispy, moist and beautifully seasoned. Zero complaints on that. Quite a few beers were off when we went but the ones we had were as good as we expected. Some cask ale wouldn't go amiss, but I understand why you wouldn't stick that in a place like this. Oddly it was jam packed full with kids on a Sunday. No issue with that, and to be honest it's sensible to have a kid friendly bar, both for the owners and the parents, but I didn't expect it. Though you can't deny it does jar the ambience a touch (unless of course you have a kid, in which case I couldn't think of many better places to spend the afternoon). I liked it, and it's a decent place for Walthamstow, but I'd rather spend the afternoon at the Leyton Star and still get the same food and drink experience.

I've been walking past this place every day and been dying to try it - managed to do so today with my friend! I got a swift reply on IG when I enquired if they were open. It's not a big menu and I say that in the most positive way. We totally loved the Sparkly Apple Cider, which was refreshing. I ordered The Chairman burger, which was packed with flavour and juicy; whilst my friend had the beetroot burger, which she enjoyed (there was an issue with one of the vegan options but that was sorted). We were the first ones who came in for lunch at about 11:45 but the place was soon full of locals. It's a lovely atmosphere - cosy and friendly, but can be improved if you have real plants instead of fake ones (haha, that's my only complaint). This is my new comfort-eating place from now on.

Previously had given 5 stars 2 years ago, went 2 weeks ago for lunch and unfortunately the food quality has really changed in 2 years the chicken thigh burger was very off putting it really smelt like stalechicken and was not seasoned at all and you could feel all the pieces of fat in your mouth, the batter was still raw in alot of places. The buffalo wings and bbq wings tasted like they had been cooked ages ago and kept under a warm light they were so dried out and there was barely any sauce on them. Had to put sauce on everything to wash it all down. Had lunchtime special burger and chips with drink, again the burger was dry and small portion, which is supposed to be cheaper than normal menu. Not by much and not many options. The chips the wings and everything we ordered was small portions and very different to what they had before. Was very dissapointed with £47.85 spent only for 2 people. If the food was good it would be worth every penny. the burger sauce was good. Customer service was rubbish food was just dumped on the table didnt come to ask if everything was ok. We had asked for bbq sauce and it was forgotten and brought to us near the end of the meal. All in all if I could give it 0 stars I would. They also don't take cash but they tell you that only at the till once you've ordered doesn't clearly say it anywhere else apart from near the till there's a litte peice of paper with that information on. I was very upset as previously we came here 2 years ago and a few times before that and it was one of my favourite wing places. I wish I could still say that. Bad quality food at...

Ok so the only reason I didn't give Collab a five star rating is their kids meals are ridiculously small. Weve got twins who are fussy eaters at the best of times and even they said they were hungry after eating. Note to the management dont think that just because it's a kids meal that kids eat a huge amount less then adults. Otherwise I couldbt love this place any more than I do. I used to think that The Diner was my weapon of choice. This place though is the absolute mutts nethers. Their signature burger is actual perfection, always cooked beautifully. Tried their vegan version last night after having one of the most disastrous burger meals I've ever had (from The Chequers), which I can say is the nest burger ove ever had. Had their chicken wings and chilli fries which were amazing. Literally everything they cook, that I've eaten is brilliant and for the money well worth every penny. The staff there are great but totally run off their feet. The only downside is Collab is outside my bus stop and I'm finding it harder to not go in for a swift half and burger. The beers here are brilliant. The selections is pretty much unrivalled even by The Wildcard Brewery. Lastly as I've mentioned they need to sort the kids menu out. It's not good enough to have a range of kids meals that are only suitable for a 4 year old. Sort that our and you've got a pub/restaurant that will literally demolish the competition. Kids have big appetites. Collab has set the standard high for burgers and beer. The rest of the restaurants and pubs serving up burgers need to take heed and...
