Visited taste of lahor wembley today with my family I can definitely say that it was one of the best experience in my life. We came from India 2 months ago and was struggling to get the desi Asian taste in London. Went out for shopping so found this restaurant busy and as name indicates that they do Desi style food. Initially we were scared to get space in as they were busy at that time so we looked onto the digital menu to figure out about order. Meanwhile a girl saw us with big overwhelmed smile to welcome us although there was not space to eat in at that time. She gave us 5 mints waiting time but we tho it seems impossible but she come up with space with five minutes because she wanted us to eat in as it was our first time. I would love to appreciate that girl she told her name but I forgot at the mo she was short highted with round transparent glasses. We decided to go forain course so we can finish early as they were busy but she dealt us very very well she organized our meal that started from BBQs starter she recommended us to go for family platter and later for Nihari and Nak mandi chicken khari. Food was super delicious rich in flavor and well priced everything gone very well they way we wanted specially the mouth watering namak mandi khari. I would love to say thank you to that girl for making our meal special. Thank you taste of lahore wembley for great...
Read moreThe place can be busy some time as the only kebab shop in this area. The waiting time is awefully long. At some point they introduce fish and chips in their menu as you can see in the picture. From my experience is a BIG NO NO NO. First of all the quality of the fish they use is cheap as reflected in price.. But they don't know how to cook it. I am a big fan of fish and chips so I paid for 2 portions telling them that i will collect in 30 minutes. 30 minute later went for colection, they not even start start to cook it...as they were busy serving other customers. They asked me to wait few minutes and my order will be ready. After 7-8 min they gave me the bag with apologies for the delays. Went home , could not wait to eat as being so hungry, only to have another bad surprise. The so called fish was some litle bits of chewy staff covered in lots of hard corn flower that supose to be the batter.Every think was dark brown not edible staff. I said I'll eat the chips but even the chips looked more like small reheated leftovers allready hardened... My conclusion...you can go for a kebab in there but IF YOU ARE A FISH LOVER GO TO A PROPER FISH AND CHIPS SHOP not...
Read moreI was with my mum on the High Street doing some shopping when she noticed Taste of Lahore and asked if we could go in. I was a bit tired and hesitated at first, but eventually agreed — and oh my God, I’m so glad I did! It was honestly one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had. The variety of food was amazing, full of flavour, and everything was cooked perfectly.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We left really happy, my mum asked if we could go again — this time, I was excited! We returned and once again, the food was incredible. The portions were generous, and every bite was a joy.
Since then, I’ve been back many times. Every time I try something new, and each time I’m left saying “Wow!” The taste is consistently excellent, and the quality never disappoints. You can really enjoy proper, authentic food here.
The service is great, the staff are kind and attentive, and the food is always top-notch. The only thing I’d love to see is the restaurant getting a bit bigger — it deserves to grow! That would make it absolutely phenomenal.
Thank you to the whole team — you’re doing an...
