Crunchy's — Restaurant in London

I used to leave tons of 5* reviews on food delivery apps even when the quality was inconsistent. I think the place is under new management, and the place just gets worse.

I make requests, and they literally do the opposite. I go in the shop, tons of wings available, they give to other customers that ordered after me, and offer me chicken strips. I don't like it, but they gave me no option other than to take it.

When I go home, I'm further dissaponted to see that instead of giving me the chicken pieces I requested, they gave 1/8. If you won't take my request at least don't do the opposite

Exact same thing happens the following week on a food delivery app. They give me strips instead of wings, and this time 4/8 pieces of the type I requested, which isn't bad, but if you're not going to listen to my requests, why do you think I should take alternatives I clearly didn't order.

In regards to the food, it's unique compared to other chicken shops in East London. As the name suggests, wings are crunchy, chips is great but everything else is just soggy. Had to wait 20 plus mins for wings only to be told (after inquiring twice) that they had messed up my order and that it would take even longer. It’s a bit silly for a takeout to not have wings readily available or constantly being replenished. The person at the front was trying to manage the front and kitchen and sadly neither were running efficiently. The kitchen staff were super slow, it took one of the staff 2 mins to pack 8 wings for another customer. Please come with popcorn if you want to witness a complete shambles for free. Food was awful ordered around 6 snackboxes alongside a burger meal and every single one of the chips were undercooked, very disappointed. Worker was nice inside the shop however when I called him to raise my concern he questioned why am I callling after 30 minutes to say my problem. Instead of saying sorry or even acknowledging his mistake he urged me to place a negative review argumentatively. Shop is a hit or miss go carefully however do not go if you are spending more than £10 and buying for a couple people.
