Went there to dine because the some reviews say that it is good and sometimes I see the place packed but to be honest I was disappointed. Food was good but the service was cringy. My friend and I were sat next to a party do with over 15 customers so it was really noisy and crowded. Obviously the group were there first and there were being served went we arrived but while we were sat I looked at one of the waiters (and I was not necessarily asking him to come serve us) and he said “Not now”. Whether it was out of cheekiness or playfulness it sounded really off and unprofessional. My friend and I got a bit put off and we wanted to leave to be honest but we acted mature and just got on with it unlike the other table were I saw another couple leave after 10 minutes when I think they even came after us. It was an experience but definitely not going to ever come back to such place and also they only accept cash??? Really??? So backwards😂😂😂. Anyway that’s it. Food average and service ugh. Definitely would not go back ever again😂😅
19/03/2024 Hello just replying to your response. I stand to what I saw. Two guys one Asian and White sat after us and they left 10 mins later. Not even a drink was served and definitely food unless they just wanted to use your chairs like park benches for a quick rest. Anyway, I am never coming back anyway so I won’t be gaslighted by your patronising and sarcastic response...
Read moreMy first and sadly last time eating from Curry Paradise. Ordered a Chicken Tikka and was delivered something that barely resembled it, from the colour to the texture and especially the flavour. Called to see if I had made the mistake of ordering the wrong thing but was actually told by the restaurant that they had purposely changed how they cooked the chicken tikka. It was not stated on the menu so for someone ordering chicken tikka they would naturally be expecting it to be cooked how it's normally prepared. I was told they had recieved complaints from customers of how sweet the dish was, I personally would order something else not change the original recipe. Was disappointed as well that the restaurant didn't offer a refund or was willing to correct their mistake. Some friendly advice to Curry Paradise, make sure any changes made on your menu is clearly stated. Honestly speaking I don't think the new version of the chicken tikka shouldn't be on the menu. Hope the business...
Read moreMy husband and I kept coming back for more on our visit to London. We stayed in Brixton, and were not disappointed with the food options we had near us, but Curry Paradise topped our visit, and raised the bar! If you appreciate being well treated, then you won't complain about the customer service. They're so attentive, quick, and if I may so myself, charming as well. If you're in the mood for something sweet- as some curries tend to be- then "Malaya" is a great option. You have the option of choosing a veggie option, lamb, chicken, prawns, or meat. Personally, I don't think that is enough, so go ahead and order a portion of rice to compliment your dish. I chose the coconut fried rice, and wasn't disappointed. The second visit I made, I chose "Lemon Rice" with "Dupiaza" . If you're in the mood for curry as constant as I am, you need to make a small pilgrimage to...
