This place is one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in London. Unlike other Italian restaurants that are more fast food and cheap, this place truly lives up to Italian cuisine. The pizza was extremely well made and the lasagna was hot and full of cheese and meat. The service was quick as when I ordered Tiramisu it came almost instantly. The atmosphere is almost perfect but could be improved as there were one or two un-kid friendly photos. But other than that… 100% recommended to others!

Homie and cozy little Italian restaurant. Daniela, the owner is a lovely lady. Very welcoming. She prepares some of the food and food ingredients herself. Da Daniela is a family run business. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the delicious food. The menu is simple with many traditional kinds of pasta dishes and pizzas. The desserts are also prepared daily by Daniela. Book in advance if you can as the place is small. Highly recommended if you’re looking for some authentic Italian food.

Gorgeous place. That's how I'd describe it. I am a quite picky person when it comes to food and restaurants, but this place was really good. It's not very spacious but it's very cozy. The pizza I asked for (I asked for a quattro stagioni which was out of menu) was on par with the ones I had on the Vesuvio pizzerias in Naples. Staff was very welcoming and fun, definitely a place to go to. Franco Manca's got nothing against these pizzas.

I’m going to be really honest, the food was fantastic but the service was horrendous. My girlfriend and I stumbled across this place on the evening of April 8th around 6:30 and decided todo a “walk in”. When walking in, our waiter/host (who I think could possibly be a manager) asked if we made a reservation we said “no” he did a little pout and said “right” then pointed to the nearest seat saying “sit there”. At first he was slightly rude/annoyed but we decided to shrug it off and act like he was having a bad day. Keep in mind the restaurant was almost empty. Upon sitting down and taking our order he not only walked off on us while taking our order but he also forgot our drinks. I would understand if the place if it was busy considering myself I was a server at a restaurant too but this was completely unacceptable. The food came out relatively quick and it was surprisingly really good considering the terrible service we just went through. After finishing, we talked about coming back again considering we love the ambience and food of the place (just not this current server). We then decided on dessert and asked our server for the desert menu. It was nearly 30 minutes afterwards of just waiting, he never once came back to check up on us nor the other tables and was in the back eating his food while talking to the cooks. We decided to just call him over and grab our checks and leave. Personally I would come back to this place if this server that we had at 6:30 in the evening on April 8th is not working there. If I was the owner or manager (considering I really think he is a manager/supervisor) I would’ve fired him considering how slow and rude he was as a person. Like I said, I would definitely comeback if he wasn’t working there...

really sad that i’m having to give two stars because the food was incredible… the service, however, was shocking.

my boyfriend and i visited da daniela at approximately 6:30 on 8th april. our waiter initially seemed irritated that we hadn’t made a reservation even though the restaurant was almost empty. he came across as unwelcoming and sour.

he later stopped taking our order midway through in order to seat someone (which was incredibly rude), and as a result forgot to bring our drinks. we had to remind him to bring them after we’d had our starter.

the food came out relatively quickly, but this was down to the chefs, not him. it was delicious, which makes the service all the more disappointing.

once we’d finished eating, we asked for a dessert menu and we were left unattended for almost half an hour, by which point we just decided to call him over and get the bill. this resulted in another 15 minute wait.

if the restaurant was busy, i could understand, but it was not. there were about 4 tables that were occupied. during our time spent waiting, i could see him walking to the back and chatting to the chefs and snacking on various things from the kitchen, polishing knives, and adjusting napkins and cutlery on the empty tables, rather than attending to the customers at the occupied ones.

i noticed nearby tables getting quite irate that he wasn’t in any way attentive and they were waiting about 25 minutes for their bill or for their order to be taken. i will not be coming here again provided he is our waiter. very...

Don't go here. Read this story: We have booked table online and when arrived, were told our booking did not get through. We were asked how we have booked, if by phone, mobile or website. We have booked via website and were told that website doesn't work. So we have said if website does not work, take the booking system off it. However, waiter tried to find us table, 1 hour slot to eat before other guests have booked it was available. We have stayed, but should have gone elsewhere. My friend have ordered linguine with clams, I had beef lasagna. Restaurant advertises BYO wine, so we did. To our surprise we were charged £4.95 "corkage" fee and told in other places wine cost £20 so we should not complain. My beef lasagna were small portion and with not very much meat in it. My friend got worse off. Linguine with plenty of clam shells, and only few had meat in them. When we have said there is no meat in many clams, lady owner/chef said it is nonsense and laughed it off. When asked for the bill, menu stated service charge is included in the price, but had to pay extra service charge on top anyway. We have raised this with waiter, but he was not interested and said service charge is not included and has to be paid. Went to the toilet, there was no toilet paper and hand dryer was broken, so I had to leave toilet with wet hands. As a goodbye treat from the lady owner/chef, we were showed 2 fingers up salute....
