Wow - a little piece of Japan in Maida… I’ve passed this place so many times in the past 4 years and always wondered what it’s like. Having seen the reviews of this place on deliveroo and google and having a special date night … Yesterday we took the plunge and wow - did we have the most amazing experience. Greeted by a very charming front of house gentleman, then seated and served by Ollie who was very courteous, friendly and a joy to meet. That’s just the staff - all of them were very sweet - we sat out on the terrace in the front which was nice as the sun was shining and it was a lovely warm evening. I noted they had heaters outside if needed on those chilly nights. Then the food came - each dish visually beautiful served by a different person each time and the tastebuds - WOW - they enjoyed every single morsel of food we had. The dishes were stunning. Hopefully the pics do them justice. Check out the bill for what we had. Have to say the cost was very reasonable for two - we left feeling great and unable to eat anymore. My fave was the spicy pork ribs - the meat fell off the bone and then scooping up the sauce with the meat…. Heaven. the sauce was amazing to put your rice in also. Mia’s favourite was the agedashi Tofu and mushrooms dishes. We are definitely going back very soon - this will now be a regular place for our Japanese treat!! To top off a wonderful evening as we left around 7.15pm we noticed an art gallery had just opened next door so popped in and took in some art! Lovely evening. It’s Fridayyy yeah…. Highly recommended…

In the quiet shadows of the sleepy Lauderdale Road unfolds a culinary masterpiece that has evolved from a well-kept secret into an essential destination over the years: Sushi Murasaki. The initial astonishment at the presence of a Japanese culinary symphony in the midst of this street was immense. Here, away from Mayfair, true magic unfolds. In the now polished setting of this restaurant, it has long become the norm for the fastest cars, gazelles, hipsters, and locals alike to find their way here to spend their evenings. A captivating spectacle that has relentlessly developed in recent years. As an observer of this scene in the neighborhood, I can only advise everyone to secure a table in advance. For how many aromas are lost when one wraps their sushi in plastic? No, one should take the time to immerse themselves in the adventure of the menu. The few tables are always in demand, and for good reason. As a vegetarian, I experience a delight for the palate after another here. Already, I look forward to the upcoming summer when outdoor dining is possible, well-protected behind boxwood hedges. This is not just a restaurant; it is a place where the senses awaken, and one loses themselves amid delights. It is a rendezvous with oneself and the Asian melody that transports one to a different time zone. Here, deceleration occurs, and one feels happy. The place not only offers delicious dishes but also an aura of well-being and harmonious contemplation.

First meal out since COVID-19 lockdown and what a great restaurant to eat at. The sashimi and nigiri, along with the tempura has been the best I’ve had in London. They are participating in the government Eat-Out to Help-out during Aug 2020 so as an extra incentive makes it even more worthy of eating there. The staff are very accommodating, allowing space for our baby buggy and attentive. The sashimi is very fresh, well cut and presented. Highly recommend and I will go back.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at Sushi Murasaki. We ordered a variety of rolls including the salmon avocado roll, tuna avocado roll, California roll, crispy rice tuna, and the special Murasaki roll. Every dish was a culinary delight, exhibiting the restaurant's mastery in sushi preparation. The freshness of the ingredients, harmonized with perfectly seasoned sushi rice, made each roll an explosion of sublime flavor. The standouts were undoubtedly the crispy rice tuna and the Murasaki roll, both of which tantalized our taste buds with their unique textures and robust flavors. Sushi Murasaki has managed to craft an innovative menu while maintaining consistent excellence in taste, earning it a well-deserved spot on any sushi lover's must-visit list. We'll undoubtedly become regular patrons of this exceptional restaurant. Highly...
