Dany's Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in London

We had one of the MOST AMAZING Sunday lunch experiences ever at Dany’s Bar & Kitchen.

We were a very large group (around 30 people) and took over the entire restaurant for a reunion lunch.

The owner was incredibly sensible, kind and accommodating, arranging the restaurant and food beautifully in a buffet style (as we had requested) so we could mingle and catch up with one another.

For starters, we had potato salad served on lettuce leaves, , mushroom arancini, tzatziki, and a few charcuterie boards. Every single item was incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. The amount of food provided was generous.

For the main course, we were treated to an incredible spread: • Shoulder of lamb (falling off the bone and full of flavor), • Grilled tender chicken, • Juicy, perfectly grilled lamb chops, • Freshly grilled sea bream, and • Homemade ravioli with fresh sage and capers that was to die for (one of the best ravioli dishes I ever had - even better than in Italy!).

All the food was served on large, beautifully colourful platters. Each dish came with a variety of vegetables, and the owner also prepared green rice (baghali polo), which paired beautifully with all the meat dishes (also o e of the best baghali polo I ever had).

As someone who is notoriously hard to please when it comes to food, I have to say the food at Dany’s was better than my grandmother’s cooking (and I’m glad my grandma isn’t internet savvy, or this would be the end of me!).

The ingredients were incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. The presentation was delightful. The only regret I have is that I forgot to take photos! I was distracted with friends and the food!!!

The wine list was varied and extensive, offering plenty of excellent options to complement the meal.

The professionalism and warmth of the owner and staff were SUPERB, making the entire experience even more memorable.

For the first time in a very long time, I have absolutely nothing to fault about a restaurant.

I recently visited Dany’s Kitchen and Bar for dinner and cocktails on a Saturday, 6th April 2025, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the perfect tone for the night. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the staff made sure we felt comfortable throughout the evening.

The food was exceptional — every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention goes into both the preparation and presentation of their menu. Although I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t have my favourite mezcal tequila for the cocktails, the drink options available were still excellent and crafted with great skill. I’m hopeful that on my next visit, they will have added it to their selection.

Overall, I had a truly lovely time at Dany’s Kitchen and Bar. It's a perfect spot whether you're looking for a relaxed dinner or a night out with friends. Thank you again to the wonderful team for making the evening so special. I’m already looking forward to my next...

Tried out this new restaurant last night and I’m very glad I did!

The restaurant itself is lovely, decorated to a very high standard and with a lovely outdoor terrace with plants. Even the toilets have been decorated and were spotlessly clean.

Staff were very friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. Nothing was too much trouble!

I had the mushroom risotto which was absolutely delicious. Very generous portion with a lot of mushrooms and, for once, I didn’t have to ask for extra parmesan or black pepper as it was already perfectly balanced.

For dessert, I had the baclava with vanilla ice cream and a doubly macchiato. Without exaggeration, some of the best baclava I’ve ever had and the ice cream was very high quality. Coffee was strong and smooth.

I also had two glasses of Picpol de pinet, and altogether with service it came to just over £41. I think this is excellent for the quality of food provided.
