David's Deli — Restaurant in London

I am not gonna lie I never sat there but I was their neighbour back in 2019. Few times one of their staff helped me when he saw me struggling or in need of help; one day I forgot the keys to my flat in the middle of the night and I had nowhere to go and he has been there with me and waited until I found a solution even though he did not know me at all and offered me help! And saved me once from a guy who tried to annoy me in the late evening as well! A good place to eat at or to spend time at is a place which is owned by people who are angles like those people who work there and owe this place. Few years have passed by and I didn't have the chance to thank him; once I am back in London I will. I want to recommend you this place because people like them will never fool you, they deserve every pound for their good heart. Me and my parents cannot thank you enough even though it has been a while since, I will come soon to tell you that face to face (hopefully he is still working there) and obviously will sit there as well! We need more people like you in this...

I have visited several shisha lounges in London and I have also been fortunate enough to wine and dine in some of the nicest restaurants in the heart of the city. That being said, nothing feels more like home than David’s Deli.

I have been visiting David’s deli 3+ times a week for nearly two years. At first I would go with friends, but eventually I found comfort in going alone as many of the regulars often do. The reason? You never actually feel alone at David’s deli. The brothers are all warm and friendly, the manager is wonderful and the employees all know you by name.

Once you step foot in the place more than twice, they will know your order by heart and welcome you as if they’ve known you for a lifetime.

The best shisha in town, the food hits you exactly where it needs to, the tea at the end of the night with something sweet to dive into… it’s all there.

Nothing beats the people. If you are a regular than you know. If you are not, you are welcome to come join and see for yourself.

Just had the perfect breakfast. I’ve been lucky enough to have this place as one of my locals and the brothers that run the deli are a delight to be around. There is a great community vibe here so feels really nice to visit and chat away if I want to. The owners are very happy to do anything for you that might not be on the menu so just ask. Here I ordered scrambled egg, grilled halloumi and avocado with a carrot and ginger juice. All cooked to perfection and so very tasty. But aside from this they have fresh home cooked dishes everyday made with love and on site. Delicious lasagna, moussaka, some Middle Eastern dishes, the best falafel wrap you will land on for miles, sometimes roast marinated chicken, or other meat dishes, lots of salads , just so many dishes I can’t list them all.
