There is no question as to why the pepperoni/jalapeño/basil pizza is called the Jesus. This pizza is a revelation, the kind of Italian pie that will have you forsaking all others. Having lived 15 years in Chicago and around the US, and more recently in Western Europe, I know the full range of good pizzas. And this is very, very, very good pizza. You buy drinks next door from a choice of all the coffee/tea options to draft beers and glasses/bottles of wine. Sitting outdoors at the picnic tables will increase your bliss. Lots of happy dogs accompany their owners here. Special kudos to the staff for their amazing product and consistent friendliness.

Great little local pizza place to pop by and get a pie. Pizzas were great, thin crust and some fun toppings available. I had the vegan pizza, exactly like the daya cheese pizza and toppings I’ve had at other places so I was happy. I added jalapeños and it made the whole thing awesome. My husband had a regular pizza with mushrooms and olives (Gianluca) and inhaled it. Yes you can and will eat the whole pizza yourself. Drinks available next door along with some really delicious ice cream (dairy and ice pop).

It’s National Pizza Day, so we decided to get food from our favourite place. We did a big order of 8 pizzas to go and they were ready so quickly, piping hot and they kindly added extra chilli oil. All the choices are good but the McGiver, Kevin and D4100 are superb. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed, they always have the best tunes playing and also do great cocktails. Highly recommend this little gem in Brockley

Pizza: Tip top. Staff: Polite & friendly Service: Needs work

We booked a table for 4. My husband and I arrived 10minutes late but our friends were already there and seated. It was obvious it was busy but we weren’t even acknowledged by the staff cleaning tables in front of us. A quick, “hi guys, I’ll be with you in a moment” to recognise our existence is all. We stood in the doorway long enough that we just walked in to find our friends who were seated around the corner. We had to ask for the menus as they were never brought to us - our waitress did acknowledge and apologise for us waiting and we understood. We then had to ask if we could order our food. We were offered a water jug re-fill that never came and we then asked three times over the course of our time here before i ended up going over to the bar myself to ask the barman to serve me one that I took back to our table. We had to ask for desert menus, then had to ask to order desert, then had to ask for the bill, then had to ask to pay the bill.

It’s understandable when a venue is busy - the staff were literally running! However, I don’t know anyone who hasn’t worked a service job so we all understand what happens when you go to a restaurant, but only enough patience and understanding can be given until you realise as the customer your asking for the job to be done.

Despite this we did still pay the service charge but it left a cloud over what was really good pizza.

Overall I think the concept is great but the ratio of venue size, number of staff, and how many people are let through the door needs a review for this...

Not really sure why my last comprehensive review was deleted...

Service and vibe is great.

Pizza is absolutely not the best in London. Crust has some nice leoparding and the dough is tasty and a good texture. Ingredient quality seems lacking and I firmly believe a margh should have as much flavour as a 'za with an embarrassment of toppings.

I am a pizza freak, but no purist. I can go in for a Neapolitan style pizza or something with a crunchier base. This is defo on the sloppier end of the scale but without a real flavour bomb that they are so great at in Naples.

The sauce is a little under-seasoned too....
