Ordered from Deliveroo today. Always craving Korean but I’m always disappointed with the options in London. Not today. This won’t be the last time we order from Dodam. The food came piping hot and well sealed - we got two soups - and nothing spilled out! Always sad when half the food is in the bag by the time it gets to you, so really appreciated the care they took to ensure it got to us intact.

We got a seafood pancake to start - not too greasy and good amount of seafood. The kimchi banchan was excellent, with the right amount of spice and tang that I prefer for my kimchi. We then had the yukgaejang, kimchi jigae and spicy chicken bimbimbap. We were impressed with the bimbimbap that came delivered with the rice separated with a plastic divider from all the other ingredients to ensure freshness. All three dishes were some of the best London renditions we’ve had - flavors were on point and the ingredients were fresh. Personal preference would have been for things to be spicier but I know we like our food on the spicier side.

Will order from them again and try out their soondubu and grilled meats! Plus, it was a ton of food for a really reasonable price (approx. £40 with a tip for the Deliveroo driver). Would highly recommend if you’re looking for high quality...

Came here on my own for lunch as my office is nearby. Would recommend this place for a treat, as food is good and healthy too. But portion sizes are small and expensive for what it is. Bimbimbap not served in hot stone, was a bit disappointed, but the colourful rice was really yummy and felt very healthy. I would say it is authentic.

Update: had a wonderful dinner here. Had one of the best japchaes here the other day. There was so much beef, and the flavours were even throughout. The noodles were a lovely soft, chewy texture. The flavours were a great balance between sweetness and saltiness.

They had recently added hotpot to their menu, and their budae jjigae wasn’t too spicy, wasn’t too much or too heavy.

The kimchi volcano rice was delicious. More to the sweet side which is great to order with the hotpot which was a bit spicy. I love cheese a lot, so this dish was great!

The Korean fried chicken, with sweet and spicy sauce was crispy, not too much batter and the portion size was good for the price. Adding deep fried rice cakes to the dish was an added bonus!

Overall, highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in the area! Food is delicious! And not too expensive. It’s not a busy area, so it’s not chaotic like some hot...

Dodam Korea was absolutely awesome! The staff go above and beyond to ensure great service for customer satisfaction. Daeun (다은), our server, was simply wonderful and ever so sweet. Despite a busy service, she checked in on us several times to make sure our hot pot cooked well and stayed warm when we forgot about it. She even saved us from ordering too much food and advised us to try first then order sides if needed. What a gem 😊 We had the Spicy Chicken Tteokbokki Hot Pot to share which comes with rice cakes (the tteokbokki), fish cakes, tempura veggies, spring onions, and chicken in a sweet and spicy mix that was delish! Food was so good we forgot to take a picture when it was all cooked 😂 We were also told that no one had ever ordered this menu option which was crazy to us! It was so good! We also had sik-hae (식헤, non-alcoholic rice drink) and the Korean pear juice, both of which were mildly sweet and very refreshing. Don't be afraid to try something new guys! Thanks again to Dodam for an amazing night of lovely Korean food and...

A mixed bag with regards to the food. Galbi-tang had a flavoursome broth but lacking in the amount of meat and other ingredients. Fried Chicken had a nice crunchy exterior, but a bit too salty and dry. Volcano Fried Rice was decent with a nice bit of egg and cheese and tasty fried rice. Could have had more depth in the flavour of the rice and portion size was a bit lacking. Soondubu-jigae was full of tofu and other ingredients but the broth lacked depth and tasted quite watery. Budae-jigae had more depth of flavour than the Soondubu-jigae. Prices were a bit much, 12.5% on top as well. They were willing to change my booking from 6 to 7 people without hassle, which was nice. But the seating meant they couldn't properly serve our food as we were in the corner. So they had to hand the hot soups to us over some of our heads.
