I visited this restaurant alone over the weekend for the first time. I was not greeted when I entered and I didn’t feel welcomed at all. I was ordering a takeout. I wasn’t sure where I should place my order so I naturally waited for someone to assist me . Several staff members had noticed me, but no one approached me, so I took it upon myself to wave down a member of staff and asked where I could place an order for takeaway. They took me to the till which was at the other end of the restaurant. How anyone is supposed to know where to place a takeout order when you’re not greeted or acknowledged is a myth. Order place then the waiting game begun! The wait was so long, I started to feel irritable as there was nowhere to sit. I felt really awkward as I was the only person in the takeout area standing directly in front of a group of male chefs. I ordered the mixed donner box which comes with rice, salad, bread and sauces. I wouldn’t have waited, but my little niece asked me to bring her some chips back. I had to look for a member of staff in the main restaurant to complain about the wait. The food was well presented, but way too overpriced for the portion size. Worst of all the meat was so bland, The bulgur wheat rice was barely the taste or colour it should be and the white rice was slightly wet and soggy at the bottom. Just tasteless! Chips were just a side order but they should not have been sold! They were cold, stale, dry and partially burnt, they were so stiff and dry they were inedible! I got three other adults in my house to taste one and they all spat the chip back out. We were all certain that they were old leftovers being re served! The only way chips would be that stale is if they were left out for hours. Never going back! For two expensive with zero quality.

Friendly staff and attentive service. We ordered a Lamb Beyti and Vegetable Kebab. Unfortunately the vegetarian kebab did not come out as expected, it was just some tomato sauce with too much onions and a few pieces of zucchini and peppers. When I informed one of the staff that it was incorrect they said they knew it wasn't correct when they served it. It was weird they served it to me knowing it wasn't right... The owner tried to make it up to me by offering cold mezze dips and falalel on the house which was nice of them, but I would have preferred for them to make the vegetable kebab but I think because there was a large group that arrived right after we did they probably weren't prepared enough to make it, which was disappointing. But they did acknowledge their fault and apologized several times so it may have just been an opening week glitch. My husband however did enjoy his Lamb Beyti. Despite the friendly hospitality, the one thing I do have to say is I didn't completely feel safe in the environment. Despite staff wearing face masks, there was a lot of people in the restaurant, I think way too many in such a small space given the current COVID situation. Too many staff and then they seemed to let a large booking of 16 people (split across three tables) interact with each other. The tables were too close together. I know it was their opening first week so hopefully they'll resolve these issues and maybe next time we'd try them again and I'll be able to provide an update on my experience.

I visited on 24th August 2025 and ordered the Mixed Grill for £26.95. As someone from the Middle East who knows and appreciates authentic cuisine, I was very disappointed. The restaurant looks inviting and well-presented from the outside, which made my expectations higher. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to that impression. The meat did not taste or smell fresh, and while I was very hungry and ate some of it, I would have otherwise sent it back. The kebab in particular was overwhelmingly salty, which made the dish even less enjoyable. Overall, the quality fell far short of what I one would expect given the price point and decor. Shame. Would not recommend. UPDATE: The resturant has since offered a refund. Thanks

Went here with my wife for dinner as doors were open and the food smelled good wafting onto the street. Was seated almost immediately and menu's brought over. The wine we asked for wasn't available so we were recommended to try a Turkish wine. Politely accepted even though it was very sweet vs a sav blanc which definitely isn't. But hey, that's what politeness gets you. Ordered 2 main meals and waited..... and waited..... and waited. Several guests came in after us and ate starters.....we still waited. After 45 minutes I asked about the delay to be told the take away was very busy. So take out trumps dinner guests in a restaurant? Also our food had been ready but both over cooked so was sent back. I would think unlikely both (2 different dishes) would suffer that fate but you give people the benefit of the doubt. Some yoghurt dip was deposited on the table for the delay and we are assured our meals will be with us shortly. Another 15 minutes pass.... still no food. At this point we've given up. The wine is finished and no food still even close to being served. Another waiter is called as the one serving us has vanished into the ether. We explain we would like the bill for the wine as it's too late now to bother with the food. We are then told it's not possible as he is not our waiter and we can't leave as the food must be being cooked. My wife says if he can't help then please send either our waiter (who we can't see) or the manager so we can pay the bill please. The same waiter returns after a few more minutes with the bill. No further apology or comment. Very bizarre. It seems if your face fits you get good service here. Other people we witnessed were being literally ignored as well. At least 2 couples actually walked out. This is a busy area with many restaurants. Give this one a miss. We can't comment on the food as it was never served after a patient 70 minutes. The restaurant itself was far from capacity so no valid reason for this experience. Not...

Never in my life had such a torrid experience like I did in this place. Not the first time going there but will be the last. To cut a long story short, a waiter spilled a whole glass of coke on my back whilst we were in the middle of dinner celebrating my daughter's birthday. to our amazement the restaurant's manager/owner did not even blink. Only another waiter came to my aid which was nice but not enough as I had to go to the toilets to strip off my clothes, wash them, wash myself and dry them in the hand dryer which took me around 25 minutes to sort of half dry them. it spilled into my jacket, my partner's jacket and my daughter's. Not for a moment the manager came to ask or to apologise for this incident. not offering anything at all to compensate for what happened instead he disappeared from view until we left an hour later and never came back out. We pay the full bill, even left a tip for the waiters. I don't blame the waiter/s as accidents do happen and I'm sure he did not do it on purpose. However, I was expecting the person in charge of the restaurant to come round and speak to us instead he chose the easy option and hide. to say I was disappointed is an understatement, for the manager to show no remorse or give importance to what happened says alot about their customer care. I did not even finish my meal as I was so angry not only for what happened but for the lack of apology from this so called manager/owner. not offering at leat to charge us less for the meal, offer to pay costs for dry cleaning of our jackets etc. nothing?. I think this is absolutely disgusting, and believe me as much as my family like going to this restaurant, I will never set foot in it again for as long as I...
