Had an outstanding meal at Yatri Restaurant, easily one of the best Indian restaurants in London. The food was not only halal but also bursting with authentic flavors and expertly prepared. I started with the Samosa Chaat, a delightful mix of crispy samosas topped with tangy chutneys, yogurt, and spices, an explosion of flavors in every bite. The Chicken Tikka was perfectly marinated, tender, and grilled to perfection, with a smoky char that enhanced its rich taste. The Nilgiri Sheekh Kebab, infused with fresh herbs and mint, was juicy and packed with aromatic flavors. To complement the meal, the Cheese Naan was warm, fluffy, and generously stuffed with melted cheese, making it the perfect accompaniment. To drink, I had the Mango Lassi, which was thick, creamy, and just the right balance of sweet and refreshing. It paired beautifully with the meal. A special mention to Laxmi, who provided excellent service, attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. For anyone looking for authentic halal Indian food in London, Yatri is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning!

Best Indian food in the area, a little to work on with the restaurant being relatively new, but still the best Indian food in the area. We had the samosa Chaat, which had a variety of flavours as Indian street food. Garlic naan was good. chicken Tikka makhani was pretty much butter chicken and was a little sweet but still great, but my friend has the railway chicken curry which was much better in my opinion. Bombay chicken curry was good as well and the curry itself was similar to a nihari. The papadom were good and the sauces that came with it, took it to another level. We will update with desserts for next time as they had run out of pistachio kulfi and gulab jamun, so it must show how good they are, but we had gajar halwa which was amazing. Service was great with the staff showing initiative and checking in on us if anything required. Sorry no photos apart from the menu, but hoping the review speak for itself

Today, my Mother and I visited Yatri and enjoyed a quiet meal, in the middle of what the Forecasters have described a storm. So was the meal a storm? Well… let’s see. I enjoyed a lovely meal prepared by what appears to be a skilled chef. I ordered a Railway Chicken and Jeera Rice. The chicken was extremely succulent and the curry sauce that it was drenched in was immensely creamy and you could tell time was put into the preparation. Furthermore, the rice was light and fluffy and was made to a good standard. I tried a piece of the Lamb Biryani which was also very tasty. Overall, the meal was very nice and the staff were very accommodating. I would like to say that all that was left were the sweets but we kind of enjoyed those too! I also recommend the Jaipur single Whiskey. Thank you Chef and Staff!

If you're in search of an authentic Indian dining experience that evokes the rich flavors and warmth of home, look no further than Yatri - Indian Restaurant. Specializing in traditional vegetarian dishes, Yatri is not just a restaurant but a heartfelt journey through the diverse and delectable cuisine of India.

The vegetarian menu at Yatri is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish feels like it’s been carefully crafted with traditional methods and spices, ensuring that each bite transports you straight back to the vibrant streets of India. From the aromatic dal tadka to the perfectly spiced paneer tikka, every plate bursts with flavor, capturing the true essence of Indian home-cooking. The naan is fluffy, the samosas are crisp, and the masala chai is brewed to perfection—offering a well-rounded taste of India’s vegetarian cuisine.

What truly sets Yatri apart, however, is the unparalleled hospitality. The moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere, much like the kind you'd find in a traditional Indian home. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, offering personalized recommendations and catering to your every need with genuine care. Their service is seamless, attentive, and rooted in the deep traditions of Indian hospitality, making you feel valued and appreciated.

It’s rare to find an Indian restaurant outside of India that matches the authenticity and depth of flavors like Yatri does. For those who’ve grown up on Indian cuisine or have visited the country, dining here feels like a homecoming. The chefs stay true to traditional recipes while infusing every dish with the passion and soul of India.

In a world full of Indian restaurants, Yatri stands head and shoulders above the rest. With its mouthwatering vegetarian dishes, top-tier hospitality, and a dining experience that takes you back to the heart of India, it’s safe to say this might just be the best Indian restaurant outside of India. Whether you're a seasoned lover of Indian food or trying it for the first time, Yatri promises a memorable, soul-satisfying experience that leaves you craving more.

Don't miss out—this is a culinary journey you won’t...

I recently attended a birthday party catered by Yatri, and I was so impressed that I decided to visit their restaurant too—and honestly, both experiences were amazing!

For the party, the food was fantastic from start to finish. The pizza samosas were such a fun twist—crispy and packed with flavour—and the harabhara kebabs were so delicious and fresh. Everyone kept going back for seconds!

The mains were even better. The paneer makhanwala was creamy and rich, just perfect with the soft naan and fluffy rice. The seasonal veg kadhai had loads of fresh veggies in a super tasty sauce, and the tadka daal was pure comfort food. It all felt so fresh and homemade but with a professional touch. Even the way the food was served and presented showed how much thought Yatri puts into what they do.

To finish off, there was a birthday cake (not made by Yatri but beautifully served by them). It was a really lovely way to end the meal, and they made sure it was all seamless and stress-free.

After that experience, I just had to try the restaurant, and it did not disappoint! The food there was just as fresh and flavourful, and the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. The staff were so friendly and attentive, which made it even better.

I think Yatri is a gem—whether you’re visiting the restaurant for a meal or booking them for a special occasion, they really know how to deliver. The food is delicious, the service is spot on, and it’s clear they care about the little details. I’ll definitely be going back and recommending them to...
