A very good small independent restaurant I totally recommend. While the menu isn’t huge it does cover most bases, fish, meat, veggie. Fresh tasting, spicy, comfort food etc. We stared with bruschetta and calamari to share both were extremely tasty, the calamari tender with a good crunch on the outside and the bruschetta a fresh taste of summer. On to mains and the tuna steak was cooked perfectly and matched the rice well, the moussaka was light and perfectly seasoned with a lovely hint of cinnamon accompanied by crunchy salad and the sourdough pizza was tasty and had plenty of tasty topping without making the base soggy. And to finish I would recommend the orange cake with icecream it managed to be sharp and sweet at the same time, the creme brûlée was silky under a lovely crispy top, plus we were lucky a tiramisu had been whipped up by the chef for that day and it tasted yum. Price was around £35 per person including glasses of wine. The young lady who served us was super efficient, helpful and friendly and although we live the other side of London ( and only visited here because it was so close to come alive which we were seeing later) we will definitely travel across London to...
Read moreThis is a Hidden Gem in Fulham the Food is Modern Mediterranean which includes Pasta, Pizza and Ponuozzi ( which is a delicious Big Italian Italian-style sandwich) made of Sourdough bread packed with healthy ingredients. We had a feast including Sirloin Steak, Chicken Skewers, Vegetarian Pizza, perfectly cooked Carbonara Pasta, a mouth-watering Cheese Burger and the Crem Brulee which is to die for. The wine list is boutique but more than adequate we had the Chianti which was well-priced and went down well the Moretti on tap is a must with their Pizzas & Pannuozzi. What a wonderful evening the Chef who name is Donica although busy came to our table she is caring and passionate about healthy cooking in fact so are the whole family her husband who served us is well versed in food. A new Family Restaurant in Fulham well worth visiting. Thank you Donica we will be back...
Read moreLast Saturday I went to Koka for a calzone dinner and a cold beer (pardon that both are partially consumed in the photo attached). The meal was very good but what was more impressive was the service. In the other photo posted is a young lady who worked at the restaurant that took the time to assist an elderly customer across the road because she was concerned for his safety. I was in London for only a few days and saw many wonderful attractions but none of it measured up to what I had witnessed with this server. I'm sorry that I didn't catch her name while I was there but wanted to make sure that her actions didn't go unnoticed. Based on her service along with the service that my own server provided, I have to say that I am very impressed in who you have hired for your restaurant in North London. Wished I could have had more meals there before I had left...
