If you're a bit confused by the reviews, that's because this is a tiny theatre (apparently 57 seats but feels like half of that) in the basement of The Curtains Up pub. The pub is a lively gastropub. Stairs inside lead down to the toilets and to this little cellar with seating around a small performance space. The box office is a person checking tickets as you enter the doorway. Seating is not allocated so do queue. There are about 3 rows of a few seats on 2 sides of the stage. We saw 'Jack and I' a comic Victorian detective caper about the hunt for Jack the Ripper. The place is really good for short and casual performances. There is a pub upstairs. The interior of the toilet (women's) was quite quirky and clean.
