Friendly staff but I keep having to raise the point about the accessable toilet. As a permanent wheelchair user. The accessable toilet is left open for everyone to use and has no radar lock on it. Its very often left in a state. It has been flooded and quite often the toilet seat is broken. It's used by everyone. Being paraplegic is hard enough but when you have to constantly put your point across wherever you go and keep raising this concern. I was told that the company have refused to keep it locked due to complaints and it being broken open in the past. I was out this sunday evening for my mums birthday with friends. And again the toilet was left in a state where the seat had been broken off and there was urine all over the floor making it extremely dangerous for me to transfer from wheelchair to the toilet safely without slipping on a wet floor. I had to be accompanied by a friend everytime to make sure I was safe. I shouldnt have to put up with when i go out.The main toilets are downstairs yet everybody hidden and not hidden disabilities are allowed to use it which isn't fair for people like me who have no other option but to use it as I cant go down the stairs. Please can this be raised and taken more seriously. It really is a big deal for someone in my position. I took some pictures of the toilet on Sunday night and it really isn't acceptable. I would appreciate an acknowledgement on the matter raised and hope the changes can be made. I took some photos of the toilet on Sunday night to show how it gets left on quite a...
Read moreFood took forever when it arrived it was burnt and cold with items missing when we complained to landlady Lorraine, Roman who ran the pub previously with her, then husband Reg, and to my knowledge they were both sacked from running the pub because they were so terrible, and rude to customers lots of complaints and fights and incidents, so I don’t know how she has managed to become landlady again perhaps it’s because the new company redcat who own the pub now do not know of her past history. Anyway when we complained about the food she was very rude and dismissive and told me and my children we will not be welcome back in her pub. I can’t believe your landlady is allowed to treat customers in such a disgusting rude way, I will be complaining to RedCat management about her as well. The pub was such a nice friendly welcoming pub until Ms Roman returned many of the regulars. are Extremely unhappy she has returned… it was my family local for the past 5 years without any...
Read moreWell good was decent. I had the Pie and Mash. Only problem is you have to go to bar and order. If you are by yourself, then you loose your table because of gong to bar. Someone took my table 2 times. Then the young man behind the bar was super friendly and helpful he told me that k can start a tab and give my table number (2). Then I go back up to bar to get a beer and then the manager (I assume older bald gentleman) cleaned my plate off my table and I was not finished with dinner. I even left my jacket at the table to show that someone was sitting there. So good luck if you ha e TK go order a drink or go use the restroom. They will clean your table and let someone else sit there and then offer nothing for taking my dinner before I was done. I would have hoped for more kindness and understanding...
