Excellent location, a lift is available if anyone finds the steps overwhelming and when exiting is great to step straight out into the heart of Elephant & Castle. The staff were helpful & friendly and we were more than happy with our experience here. Recommended to use if...

Eine der älteren Londoner U-Bahn-Stationen. Funktional, aber an einigen Stellen mehr als "vintage". Unverputzte feuchte Ziegel an den Wänden, gelegentlich hört man Schritte, sieht aber niemanden, was etwas gruselig wirkt. Wenn man das möchte. Doch keine Sorge. Jack the Ripper kommt nicht um die Ecke. Elephant & Castle liegt im Londoner Bezirk Lambeth und das ist nun wirklich keine vornehme Gegend. Wie in jeder Großstadt der Welt gibt es auch hier Straßenkriminalität. Ich war oft hier in der Gegend, habe aber nie Angst gehabt, Opfer eines Verbrechens zu werden.
