My son and I went for our annual South American pre-Xmas blowout on Sunday 22 December 2024. On arrival at the cosy-looking premises we were immediately encouraged by the totally jam-packed room of happy diners: families, couples, teenagers - this was a great sign that we were in for a treat! The food didn't disappoint: we had seafood ceviche and calamares al ajillo, followed by carne apanada and dorado a la plancha. Everything was piping-hot, totally fresh and exquisitely appetising and the portions were beyond generous. Service was friendly and accommodating, and we were given a slightly more spacious table as the initial hubbub died down into the early evening. My favourite menu is mixed seafood in coconut cream. The portions were generous, which is why my bf and I loved it. Moreover, the food were cooked very properly and with all rich flavours and sauces. Sooo good!
We went there twice so far and funny thing is that we kept ordering the same food; mixed seafood in coconut cream for me and Ceviche for my bf. 😋
The pictures show 4 different food because first time we were there somehow instead of getting mixed seafood, I got prawn in coconut cream. But it’s ok because it was also good!
