What a disappointment this pizza was; I don't condone throwing food in the bin but this one had to unfortunately end there. I would have returned it but silly me went for a takeaway, so the surprise was once at home. I should have had my expectations lowered by the fact my pizza was ready in 5min, but I didn't think about that and got certainly negatively surprised once home. At the first slice I felt it wasn't good, after the first slice I couldn't handle how salty as well this was... Not only was the pizza bad, it was inedible. I can't vouch for all their pizzas, but the one I selected had 3 ingredients, all are certainly just from a cheap jar. Tomato sauce from a jar (it tastes strongly of tomato sauce I'm so familiar seeing in any supermarket), olives from a jar, minced anchovies from a jar, all 3 ingredients already salted I presume.. the "chef" had the great idea of adding salt, most probably their "touch".. just shows they are not even aware of the consistence of jars they're using. If I want content I can find in jar I would have gotten a frozen pizza from the nearby supermarket and be done with it, I don't see what's handmade in that pizza, maybe closing the box is done by hand. Totally disappointed, total waste of money This should be zero stars... Or -5 stars fire making me throw...

I had been keen to give this place a go for a while, so I finally decided to book a table for one Saturday evening. I would recommend booking if you're gonna go over the weekend as it gets quite busy. My reason for wanting to eat here was to try the wood fired oven pizza, so I went for the gorgonzola and salsiccia one (£12.00). The pizza was a good size and had a decent amount of toppings. The dough was light and crispy in the middle, but I found it to be a bit chewy around the edges, and finally there wasn't enough gorgonzola for me...you could taste it but just more as a background flavour...there needed to be more on that pizza! The sausage was fine, and the onion added good flavour, too. Anyway, I was feeling greedy, so I decided to have a Banoffee Sunday (£7.50), which was very good! The ice cream was creamy and gooey, and both flavours were nice, and there was loads of whipped cream, pieces of banana, and toffee sauce! Yummy! I'd definitely recommend one of these if you have room! The service was friendly and relaxed. If the pizza had just been a bit better, I'd of given the place more than 4 stars, but I would still definitely go there again as I did enjoy my food and...

Went in just after 3pm so it was nice and quiet. Staff were really friendly, they had a nice conversation with us and made us feel welcome.

The menu was fantastic, so much to choose from and you can see the open kitchen and the wonderful looking pizza oven. The portions were a very generous size, I took left overs home with me.

The gelato selection is out of this world but it was just typical that the day we decided to visit was the day it was being cleaned so there wasn't any to try for me to review. But, they had flavours ranging from the standard neopolitan, chocolate and vanilla etc to flavours like banana, oreo cookie, peanut butter, hazelnut, white italian, toffee and passionfruit. Theres over 20 flavours on the menu. I also remember reading a raspberry sorbet on the menu.

Apparently, it does get extremely busy on evenings and weekends and booking tables is highly recommended. But for a quick dinner before the rush, it was the perfect time to visit. I'll be...

Pretending to be Italian! I read many good reviews of this pizzeria and decided to give it a try. There are 2 things, either they stumbled upon a bad day or I, who have been eating pizza for 30 years, have never understood anything. The best part of the dinner was the profiterole so far, I doubt they did it, but if so, congratulations, terrible fried squid, soaked in oil and greasy, a little better the zucchini, the pizza ... mozzarella completely tasteless, no salt. but who makes these rankings? i saw it was voted best pizzeria in the area, if so, i wouldn't want to try the worst one. decent service.just a kindly suggestion forget about the cocktails or hire a professional
