I spent 50£+ happily I got the white sourdough the only downside about it that they didn’t slice it, the cookies was the best I’ve ever had in London from the chocolate to the texture really GOOD HIGHLY RECOMMEND however the millionaire bar was really disappointing it’s the caramel for me I felt that the sugar wasn’t melted properly and the biscuits was dry no buttery taste at all. The pain au chocolat was the BEST I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! The flakiness was phenomenal! The cinnamon bun was 9.7 walnut morning bun was 10/10 incredible! Pear danish was really top tier 9.8 raspberry tart was meh not my type but good 7 pumpkin fennel was good but I didn’t like it alone so I ate the next morning with poached egg on top it was the best breakfast I’ve had crazy combo reminds me of an omelette in Juliet’s quality food you should definitely try, ALL IN ALL REALLY NICE PLACES EMPLOYEE KIND AND HELPFUL. Note I know it’s expensive but definitely worth it every penny cuz this really above what I had in Penninsula hotel! “So you get what you pay for” I’m from the central so I woke up 6 by 7:40 I was there I got in second in line it really dose get busy there so if you want to avoid it simply arrive earlier. I really hope this bakery grow and be more successful with huge chain 🙏🏻

We went early on a Saturday morning and the queue was already forming but only a few people in front. We had time to decide our order. We asked what were the most popular and we took those as well as the classics we wanted any way. We grabbed a coffees elsewhere as they only serve filter here and decided to eat the pastries at the park. The pain au chocolate was really good and had that dark chocolate which cuts through the buttery pastry - I’d go back for that. The morning bun was nice enough but the coffee flavour wasn’t strong enough for us. And the pistachio and raspberry was also ok but found it underwhelming although I liked how they ensured there are whole pistachios in the paste. The service was great and although they are busy from opening they really spent time answering our questions and making the experience enjoyable. Maybe I’ll go back for the Pain au chocolate and try their cinnamon buns?!

overall: really aced all the flaky pastries, especially loving the sausage roll. (loved to go again, if i can wake up early…) tip ❗️: went 10mins before opening on fri (7:50) & there was already 10ppl in front. definitely go before they open to avoid disappointment. they don’t offer carrier bags, only boxes; so bring your own bags. sausage roll 🌭: never a great fan of sausage roll, but i was wrong, i just never had a delicious one. the meat is juicy & perfectly spiced. the pastry is flaky & not oily at all. pissaladière scroll 🐌: not sure what the exact fillings are, but they definitely know what they are doing with the savoury pastries. morning bun ☕️: slightly chewy bun dusted with sugar, & topped with a coffee cream. perfect way to start the morning. cinnamon roll 🧻: lacking the buttery taste, & not enough cinnamon filling. slightly disappointing.

It really went downhill in the past two months. Used to come for the sandwiches, the egg salad was our fav and they usually changed the filling every couple of weeks, the veggie one stayed the same for ages now. We were also served undercooked slice of pizza and after I discreetly contacted them through social media, without apologizing they stated they were very generous with the sauce today that's why it's wet, which is not true it was raw gooey dough for 7 quid. I wouldn't take a refund, but it really pissed me off from their customer service point of view telling me it's cooked when I attached a picture or raw focaccia.

Came today 8:35 and they were already sold out which is little silly to be honest. The queuing itself would be ok timewise, but you are made to spend 25mins next to stinky bins while people behind you are elbowing you and stepping on your heels to have a look at the menu. Maybe put one on the extension as well, it's incredibly uncomfortable queue experience. Unfortunately because of the shop layout, people just stand in the doors and block you from exiting after you paid, which just wastes everybody's time but it's a people problem not the bakery's.

Has been getting the walnut bun for the past year as a staple and had one today as well, it has shrunk a good 20-25% in size.

Not sure what's going on and it's unfortunate.

(Also, you add the menu on Thursday for the weekend, which is already gone from your story on...

Delicious baked goods, but they're still finding their feet.

We're so excited to have this in our neighbourhood, as is everyone else by the length of the queue. We queued for 40 minutes on Friday morning for a danish and a loaf of bread, which feels peak millennial.

When we got to the front at 8:40am, there wasn't lots of choice, but thankfully they still had what we wanted (it felt like the people behind us in the rain were about to be very disappointed). The woman on the counter was friendly, but inefficient considering the small amount of products. I'm sure she will grow into the role, we were only there on the second day.

The rhubarb danish I had was absolutely delicious as is the porridge sourdough! I wasn't allowed anywhere near my girlfriend's millionaire shortbread. The danish and sourdough (£5) felt about the right price, but £6.50 for the shortbread is steep!

It's hard not to compare it to the Toad, which is open more frequently, has a larger choice and has more professional front of house staff. But this is already a great addition to the neighbourhood and I hope they expand their opening hours and...
