A Hidden Gem in Dulwich â Fabulous Ice Fires is Truly Fabulous!
I had the pleasure of visiting Fabulous Ice Fires gelato shop in Dulwich, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment you step in, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a treat like no other.
The gelato is absolutely divineâsilky smooth, bursting with authentic flavors, and clearly crafted with care and high-quality ingredients. Their pistachio gelato is hands-down the best Iâve ever tastedârich, nutty, and perfectly balanced (da Italiano: compete con i migliori gelati tradizionali, portando un pizzico di fantasia e creativitĂ che li davvero rende unici).
Beyond the gelato, the customer service is impeccable. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft, eager to help you choose from their creative flavor offerings.
Whether youâre a gelato connoisseur or just looking for a sweet escape, Fabulous Ice Fires is a must-visit destination in Dulwich. I canât recommend it highly enoughâevery scoop is a little...
Read moreI was really looking forward to trying Fabulous Ice Fires in Dulwich, but sadly it was a huge letdown. We ordered two cups with two scoops each (four different flavours in total) and were charged £14, which already felt steep.

Whilst the ice cream was tasty (had the hokey pokey with a surprising citrus-y twist), the service was appalling. Perhaps the owner had been having a bad day but the fact that my feelings have been shared by reviewers even 9 months ago suggests there may be something more chronic. Despite there being no other customers in the shop, we felt unwelcomed, rushed and even patronised when I asked about the mocha (to which the response was "well it's coffee, so if you like coffee, you'll like this"). Had I not gone out of my way to visit this place, I may have just not bothered to even try...
