If I could give this place 0 stars I would. People shouting at each other, I may as well have been in a nightclub. The service is another level of awful, ignoring you when trying to get their attention, can’t even be bothered to take our order, trying to get US to write it down rather than bother to do so themselves. Even after this they managed to get the orders wrong, bringing the wrong drinks out and missing out others entirely and not even apologising when it’s pointed out to them. They then bring the food out in dribs and drabs, my partner had her rice a full 10 mins ahead of her duck dish, by which time it was stone cold. When one of our party asked for something that didn’t appear on the menu but was perfectly reasonable to request a member of serving staff physically laughed in his face. When the food did finally all arrive, it was bland at best and very frugal on the portion sizes and meat vs pasta / noodles ratio is ridiculous for the price. Avoid...
Read moreWe visited Four Regions as part of our day out in Richmond. This Chinese restaurant offers a fusion of Western and Chinese flavors, along with an impressive selection of cocktails 🍹.
We ordered several dim sum dishes, and some highlights included the xiaolongbao (Shanghai pork dumplings) 🥢 and Tiger prawn rolls - both incredibly authentic and delicious. Of course, the most aesthetically pleasing dish was the duck custard bun 🦆, which was almost too cute to eat! Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and tasted just as amazing. Definitely Instagram-worthy 📸.
That said, we were slightly disappointed by the limited variety compared to other dim sum spots. Some traditional favorites like congee (粥), turnip cake (萝卜糕), and chicken feet (凤爪) were missing, which was a shame.
Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and would highly recommend visiting if you're in Richmond and craving some authentic and tasty...
Read moreTook a party of four on a busy Saturday night. Starters were good but when the main course came out they forgot two dishes and what we did get was stone cold. When I mentioned this to the manager I was informed that the kitchen found it difficult to serve all the dishes on a table at the same time and at an acceptable temperature! They then took the food away and returned it 5 mins later after it had obviously been nuked in a microwave. The prices would suggest that this is a higher end Chinese restaurant but sadly the service and quality of food were anything but. On the plus side the waiting staff were friendly and polite but we asked for finger bowl to clean our hands after eating ribs. We didn't get one. We asked for a plate rather than a bowl for my elderly Gran. We didn't get that either. We spent approx £140 and it just wasn't...
