German Doner Kebab (GDK) — Restaurant in London

I came in here firstly and I thought I developed a good bond with the Till FOH person (Yasir A was his name)

Until he started questioning one of my friends about the veracity of his employment at GDK, 20 different questions trying to “expose” my friend as if he doesn’t work there. To see if he can use an employee discount.

Then my friend asked for a wrap and he didn’t ask “would you like a meal with thatv” And he even ask it comes with a drink yeah? Even though he asked for a meal ab initio

Furthermore, we were waiting for our food until then he asked for chips, (luckily there was a lovely woman with glasses and a hijab) she gave him his chips and even asked what type of chips etc (proper customer service) and furthermore I didn’t want to tire the lady but Yasir didn’t even serve me my drink. Horrible customer service from him.

As we had an unhappy experience we were ready to leave. Then Yasir decides to pick an argument with us, “Did you order chips?” And my friend replied “Yes.” Thereafter he shouted “Do I look like a fool? Don’t treat me like one.”

Honestly, the experience was horrifying except for the nice lady, do not go here, because if you’re getting served by here, Yasir claimed to be the manager and he will be really difficult and has no understanding of customer service

It was a disgusting experience and there’s other of GDKs that are way...

Right, I was denied the food for not wearing mask, while right in front of me out of 6 staff members 3 of them didn’t wear the mask at all, and one wore it under the chin.

Right when the conversation took place, a man paying for his food didn’t wear the mask at all, delivery driver that walked in didn’t wear the mask. None of it seemed to be a problem for the staff members. Only I had to walk out in the rain searching for the mask to buy and only then to order. No exception was made despite a kind request to allow this for this time as it rained outside.

Thank you German Doner staff at Finsbury Park branch. Well done for your strong adherence to the rule just for me. Everyone else is fine. Just for me.

I have not been once or twice in that shop, but on average once a week since its opening, with friends or on my own. I spoke good about your food. But individuals like that girl who took things personal and showed absolutely no flexibility and turned her back at...

I had heard a lot of great things about this brand but it's fair to say that none of them are true. For me there slogan is "kebabs done right", but it should be kebabs the same as everywhere else but just in the a sandwich instead of a pitta. The only thing that tasted good was the sauce inside the sandwich which I guess is just to cover up the fact how ever u want to brand it or sell it it's just doner meat. If your looking for a real kebab and you live in Finsbury park, green lanes is a quick walk from the station and you will find some of the best kebabs in londons. I got mixed doner meat which came with chips and a Coke and plus I ordered a extra fries and it's cost £8.98 which for me you could of got all of that from your local for around £6-7 tops. Stay away from these over priced over over branded takeaways where you paying most the money on the branded that you throw away.
