We have ordered pizza with Deliveroo, which said the capriciosa pizza is with ham substitute. We even called and they said we just need to tick the vegan box to get a vegan pizza. Since we made sure the pizza was vegan, we also thought the ham on it was. Now we went there to sit in and wanted to order the capriciosa pizza in vegan. The waitress then said that the ham wasn’t vegan, but just a halal turkey ham. This already made me mad, but you won’t believe what happened next. We made her clear that we want to order a really vegan pizza without meat, fish, eggs or dairy. When the pizza arrived, it had a piece of ham on it. I mean really? People have allergies, this is not how you treat your costumers! So I went with this piece of pizza with ham to the counter and asked if it was ham and they said: “yes, sorry just on that piece. Was a mistake” this was definitely not a mistake but on purpose. I mean they “asked” if I wanted a new pizza, but I denied. Who knows what else they would have put in there. So 9£ for a pizza with one piece missing and definitely selling a pizza as vegan, which isn’t, is just not acceptable. In addition they never said they’re sorry.
Response to comment: If you want to keep your vegans, then please teach your staff what vegan actually means. And that if we ask for a vegan pizza, that not just means that they will put vegan cheese on it, but that they will then leave out anything that isn't vegan, such as ham?! Also tell them not to ruin your place, just because they can't keep their emotions to themselves, such as being passive aggressive and putting on purpose meat on a vegans pizza who extra explained that there is not allowed to be ANY animal products. Maybe a price reduction or just a drink, where they obviously can't put meat in it, would have been an acceptable apology. Or just new staff, I guess that would be best. Also in the Deliveroo App it says "Turkey ham Substitute", that would then mean that it isn't actually ham, but something alike. That's very confusing. If it's just halal ham, then also just...

They offer a vegan pizza with "vegan" mozzarella. Most vegans are aware vegan cheese substitutes are often made with nuts and I'm severely allergic.
First of all ordering from a third party site like Uber eats tells you to contact the merchant directly for allergy related questions which is a battle in itself since the company isn't very well known and it's called 'good pizza' which comes up with loads of places .
Secondly I went to the website and it give absolutely zero information for nut allergy sufferers.
I called up the store and the man was polite but clearly not informed by management if the vegan mozzarella contains nuts or not. So I don't place blame on him but the owner is the one at fault. He just said it was vegan and said he didn't know what the actual ingredients...
Read moreWaste of £30. Disappointing experience ordering from here via Uber eats. I ordered a diavola pizza which shows pepperoni on the photo and description only to find that the pepperoni was completely missing when delivered. Was also quite soggy and didn’t taste fresh at all. To make things worse, it came with clearly refried chips which were hard/over cooked and inedible. Disappointing wings too. Basically nothing was right. I picked this place over domino’s to support a local business, but seems like I made a mistake. Shame because I used to order from here a few years back so seems like quality is gone downhill, hope it was a one time thing. Reached out for a response on Instagram but no reply. Come on guys really...
