Devastated about the discontinuation of the chocolate chip banana bread. I've been in quiet mourning for months since this foolish decision was made by upper management, however, as it still makes my hair stand on end in fury every time I walk down Pavilion. I have been left no choice but to speak up with heartfelt urgency. The chocolate chip banana bread was other worldly and the delicate combination of banana and chocolate transported one into another dimension- it was not a baked good, it was an experience. Instead, you have chosen to double the quantity of banana bread WITHOUT chocolate chip. Toward the end of the day, there are stacks on stacks of plain banana bread left. Whilst in the era of chocolate banana bread, connoisseurs of the area would elbow each other out the way to get a sweet hit of the chocolate banana bread. It's not a personal preference, its clear that this decision that will impact the margins of your business and the overall spirit and joie de vivre of the local community. Please...

I despise giving bad reviews but at this shop the customer service was nothing short of woeful.

After looking forward to a visit here, I’m not sure i can remember receiving such a bad service.

White guy, black guy and a white lady behind the counter were so engrossed in conversation and couldn’t care less that I was standing waiting to order - may as well have been invisible.

On interruption, I eventually ordered a flat white which was ok and nothing special, however not surprised giving the lack of care / attention overall.

The black guy then proceeds to point to card machine to prompt payment, whilst having the audacity to continue the trio’s chit chat.

Im all for staff having breaks but not at the expense of customers forking out for a cup of coffee which wasn’t cheap either.

From Beginning, middle and end, the trio of staff were chatting away with not a care in the world.

Im not surprised at all at the negative reviews either..

Genuinely disappointing,...

This coffee shop is one of the places I always revisit when I’m in London, and for good reason—the coffee is consistently excellent. I usually go for the filter brew, and it never disappoints. No matter which beans I choose on the day, the cup is always well-prepared, balanced, and satisfying.

Their desserts and pastries are also worth exploring. On this visit, I tried the brownies and cookies. The brownies stood out—fudgy on the inside with a smooth exterior, easily some of the best I’ve had in a while. The cookies were soft and gooey inside, good overall, though not my personal favorite. If available, I’d highly recommend the cannelĆ©s as well—they’re absolutely divine and not to be missed.

The outside seating area is also very nice, open area and fantastic if the weather is good

A spot that delivers reliably excellent coffee with desserts that make the visit even better—one I’ll keep coming back to every time I’m...

Service - you are greeted with a smile but there is where it ends. I confused myself which coffee I ordered. Instead of helping, I received an attitude and I heard the lady talking behind the counter: ā€œno she ordered that..ā€. As a customer it gave me a rather bad taste. Even if she was right there is no need for an attitude and talking about me when I can clearly hear it. Food - we had the pain the chocolate (my boyfriend liked it, for me it was so so, okay-ish). Coffee was good. The Flemington was delicious. Atmosphere - lovely. What a lovely street. You can only sit outside, or takeaway (at least in June). There are some benches outside. Totally good to sit and see the people passing by. Location - good. Such a vibrant street. Price - a bit too expensive for the overall quality and service. Wifi - unknown

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon around 5pm. It was quite busy everywhere, and this place is really small. Staff were friendly and quick, which was a plus. But… a few things didn’t quite hit the mark. First, their standard cup size is more like a small one in most other places. Second, the price – Ā£3.50 (cappuccino) for that size? Bit much, honestly. And third, the coffee was only lukewarm. Not cold, but definitely not hot – the kind that would be cold if I waited five more minutes. So yeah… sorry, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
