How about enjoying authentic Spanish dishes in the magical atmosphere of a church crypt??? ABSOLUTELY UNMISSABLE experience! Simply exceptional food, cocktails, wines and sangria that will blow your mind, very kind staff, impeccable and ready to advise you and pamper you at all times, INCREDIBLE atmosphere, with soft lights and candles that make the environment, with its exposed brick vaults really impressive, unmissable music and events every week… What do you want more??? I'm MADLY IN LOVE with Gremio De Brixton… a true GEM that you too will want to come back to 1,000 times! 🍽 FOOD and DRINKS: perfect balance between tradition, seasonality and contemporaneity 💡 ENVIRONMENT: very suggestive, in the crypt of a church where the soft lights make everything even more magical 💰 PRICE: medium 👨‍🍳 STAFF/SERVICE: all the staff are wonderful! Ask for Samia and Alexandra… a GUARANTEE OVERALL… you'll love it!

Lovely place under a church in a crypt. The staff were lovely, the Spanish beer was one of the best beers I've tasted. The place itself is very warm and cozy lots of places to sit, a nice ambient night to get you in the mood. On Saturday they have a salsa night which is cool. The only down sides I had was when I came out of the place walking around the corner druggies all in the church arch ways trying to sell you crack. If this was sorted this bar would be outstanding to all who enjoys a very quite espanic romantic night, the Spanish beers are £4.20 per scoon which is just over a half of a pint, worth it though, cocktails are very exspensive but again worth every penny. I just want to say a massive thank you to the two waitors and Bar staff, explaining althe diffrent kinds of Spanish beers. Will deffently come back here again.

Some of the best vegetarian Tapas I have had in a long time. Though a lot of the vegetable options were deep fried. I judge a tapas place on the tortilla and this tortilla was fresh and gooey with a crisp exterior which was lovely. We over ordered 6 dishes for 2 people, i would have said 4 dishes would have been enough for us. Service was lovely and attentive. We booked for a 7pm reservation on a Friday and we were only one of 3 seated tables. However by 7:30/45 the place was full. We paid £60 for 2 people and no alcohol. Though we could have ordered less for sure.

We were with a large party of 20 or so and visited both the restaurant and the club. The food was fairly good - everyone had the set menu and for en masse cooking it was reasonable. The waiters did serve us very swiftly (to the point that it was slightly rude, literally throwing tapas plates onto the table) and we were then moved away so they could clear the table. We paid a particularly grumpy server and then on moving to the bar/club things went further downhill.

The bar is, by a long, long way, the worst I have ever come across. There were 5 bar staff, though most were wafting about being the bar making cocktails at the pace of a snail (most of them had to check the recipe at every ingredient). When we were eventually served 25 minutes later (15 of which at the front of the bar!!) I asked for a bottle of wine, which quite clearly cost £20 on the menu at the bar. The waiter (Gabriel) then tried to charge me well in excess of £20, more like £24, just for a service charge which covered him getting the bottle out of the fridge and unscrewing the top. Naturally I rejected this. My friends also reported the same surprise that service charges were being added to drinks AT THE BAR. If the service was instantaneous and the drink was brought to me on the club floor then fair enough, but a bottle of wine put the fridge costing an extra £4!?

The music was fine, the dj was barely present and was good at pressing next on Spotify. Won't...

The service here is terrible. It was super obvious that none of the staff wanted to be there or even liked each other. We were only given 2 drinks menus between 10 and our water was visibly annoyed that I hadn’t been able to look at the menu when she wanted to take our drinks order. I was made to feel bad for reminding our waitress about my drink after 10 minutes. Our waitress dropped one of our churros, didn’t acknowledge it at all and didn’t pick it up! We had to! Had to ask for water and when it was delivered it was the just slammed straight on the table with no words. Every time they bought a dish over there was nowhere to put it because they hadn’t cleared the table at any point. Didn’t get a single smile from any of the staff the whole meal. We came in as group and had preordered a combination of vegetarian and non vegetarian options so when we asked if they could explain what was and wasn’t vegetarian they became confused about what we had actually ordered… surely that’s the point of preordering. We felt so strongly that we took off the service charge something that as a group we have never done! The food was fine but was nothing special- mediocre at best and certainly not worth £30. The churros had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp and were not fresh and the chocolate sauce was way too thin. The cocktails and sangria was nice though as was the general ambience. There are better tapas places and we...

If I could give no stars I would. I took my partner here for Valentine’s Day and the food was terrible. We had to accept there set menu and ended up asking them to stop bringing out the food and take money of the bill instead. A few low lights include: the cured meat selection which was definitely from Tesco (nobody denied this when we asked), the undercooked patatas bravas that we sent back and came out again immediately, this time without seasoning and just as undercooked. They poured sauce on to excess. Then the goats cheese which was battered seemed from a shop too and defrosted. Not to mention the peppers which had zero seasoning and flavour and which we would have never chosen to order. When we complained our (very kind) waitress alerted the manger who was very rude. He tried to say that the meat selection was from the same ‘Spanish supplier’ as Tesco and was refusing a discount. When we pursued this he accepted one meal off as he was scared of the word ‘Tesco’ being said so loudly in the restaurant. The last thing I have to say is that this same manager implied that we should have a fight outside instead when I complained for the terrible food. Don’t...
